I bought these sandals because they do not flex and do not damage my feet. The problem with flexible shoes is that they damage feet. A podiatrist told me to wear non- flexible shoes, so he introduced me to HOKA shoes, which do not flex as he said. Love these Adidas Alphbounce slides. Have had four pairs of Adidas slides prior to these. These fit the best, have the best velcro strap and have the best cushioning. Last pair I had was the Adisage which did n't work because the velcro strap didnt fasten tight enough on my feet.
