I was gifted this knife about 6 years ago, used it almost daily, and it had never disappointed me. Unfortunately, I lost it a little while ago, and I have n't been able to find another one to compare, so I 'm back to buy another one. It was n't bulky in any of my pocket's( including women's shallow jean pockets), and had a sturdy enough clip to stay in place without slipping out accidentally. It was stiff to open one- handed, but I personally enjoyed that so it did n't come open in my bag or pants, and the blade stayed sharp no matter what kind of work I was using it for. Though I read that some thought the snarl's blade was too thick and not sharp, I liked the thickness and thought that the blade was very sharp. I was concerned before I got the knife that without a small guard extending out in front of your middle finger like the Brous Silent Stalker that there might be a chance that your middle finger might come in contact with the blade, but after feeling how the blade is locked into your fingers I no longer concerned about that. When my son got this for Christmas he thought is was very cool, my son is 33 and can handle a knife. A nice EDC to carry in your day pack or bug- out bag. Thanks.- Michael Dixon

One of the best knives ive owned. Have put it to the test being a pool cleaner, it deals with chlorine, acid, chemicals, and its still as sharp as the day it arrived. Once its broke in its easy to open, the blade lock is great, and zero rust or divits to the blade from work. Never owned a Sog before but will definitely buy another one after this one wears out

I did n't realize how much I loved this knife until I lost it. I used it almost daily for just about anything you can think. The knife was extremely durable. What I ended up loving the most about the knife was it's light weight but sturdy frame. I could take it on jogs and light weight backpacking trips because of its weight. It fits easy into the pocket and you ca n't even tell it's there. Most knifes are bulky or the opening mechanisms catch on the pocket, but not the evo. When I searched for an alternative I could n't find an anything close.
