Bought this Wetsuit for my girlfriend for snorkeling here in Maui during the winter months. It really has extended her stay in the water from a comfortable 30 minutes and getting cold to not getting cold for hours. A beautiful suit and the front zipper was huge in my decision to purchase. The quality so far is great, the zipper large and smooth operating, easy to get in and out of. Honestly, she never wants a rear zipper unit again, as I always had to help her out of it. We get out about every weekend and this has been a great purchase.

I wore this when I went snorkeling in Maui last month. It fit me well, a little snug but I was also wearing a long sleeved rash guard. It was comfortable. I ordered a small, I am about 105 lbs and 5' 2. It kept me warm while I was in the water.

There were numerous reviews saying it ran small so I ordered a large. It was way to big. So I would say it runs true to size. I am 5. 7, 130lbs and a medium was perfect.

When selecting a snorkeling wetsuit, consider features such as thickness, material, and fit. A wetsuit with a thickness of 2mm to 3mm is typically suitable for warm waters, while thicker options provide more insulation for cooler conditions. Additionally, look for wetsuits made from flexible materials that allow for ease of movement and a snug fit to minimize water entry.
Snorkeling wetsuits are primarily made from neoprene, which offers excellent insulation and flexibility. Some wetsuits may also incorporate additional materials for enhanced comfort and durability, such as nylon or spandex blends. The choice of material can affect the wetsuit's warmth, stretch, and overall performance in the water.
Choosing the right size for a snorkeling wetsuit is crucial for comfort and performance. It's important to refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, which typically considers height, weight, and chest measurements. A well-fitting wetsuit should feel snug but not restrictive, allowing for full range of motion while minimizing water entry.
Yes, snorkeling wetsuits come in various styles to accommodate different preferences and conditions. Common styles include full suits, shorties, and wetsuit pants, each designed for specific water temperatures and activities. Full suits provide maximum coverage and warmth, while shorties offer more freedom of movement and are ideal for warmer waters.
The primary purpose of a snorkeling wetsuit is to provide thermal insulation and protection while in the water. Wetsuits help maintain body temperature in cooler conditions and protect against sun exposure, jellyfish stings, and abrasions from coral or rocks. Additionally, they can enhance buoyancy and streamline movement in the water.
