I had high expectations after hearing so much about this brand and reading countless reviews, but let me tell you—it exceeded them all. This is the most expensive pair of trousers I ’ ve ever purchased, but they ’ re worth every single penny. The only downside? I don ’ t think I ’ ll ever want to wear any other trousers again! They have a unique balance of rigidity and stretch, making them great for outdoor activities while still being stylish and comfortable for everyday wear—especially if you choose a versatile color. Regarding sizing, they ’ re said to be true to size, but in my experience, the waist runs slightly tight. If you ’ re buying from this brand for the first time, I ’ d recommend going one size up. This allows room for layering in harsh winters, while in summer, you can simply adjust with a belt. Overall, an incredible purchase!

These are the perfect pants. I 've worn mine daily for more than a year and they are still in good shape. Just bought another pair. They are deceptively light in weight, but durable. I have not had any problems with the buttons or zipper. The knife pocket works perfectly with my SAK on a tether. The back pocket flaps are good for keeping wallet secure. Please, please do n't `` improve '' the design!!!

Please never stop making these pants. I own 4 pair and they 're the only pants I wear and I will wear them forever so long as you keep making them. My only point of feedback is to use better quality buttons. I have broken 3 buttons( in various places; front button, inside button at the front, back pocket button). I just sewed a new button on my pants today. Still, these pants get 5 stars. The fit is just perfect. And they 're soooooo comfortable. These can be dressed up or down. I wear them with Red Wing boots and a flannel and sometimes with a sportcoat and Alden's. These pants just rock.

Great pants, do what they claim too nothing more nothing less. I wear them for hunting, and have been for the last two years in all types of weather and climate. They still look the same as the day i got them. Knife pocket works well didnt think id use it but i do almost every hunt. The fabric is by no means made for heavy brush but holds up very well even with thorns while going through thick bush/brush. If your looking for a great well made sturdy pant that you can hunt in and not worry about them getting torn then look no further. These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don ’ t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can ’ t speak to the new ‘ improved fit ’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. It complements my figure better than the lower waist and it provides extra protection and warmth, as well as making tucking a base layer or t- shirt in easier and more comfortable. [ These are literally the only non- wide leg outdoor pants that have ever fit my thighs and hips without falling down or gaping at the waist. I love them so much. They are so durable. I love that the fabric is weather resistant, quick drying, and ventilated. I love Fjällräven ’s warranty. They aren ’ t quite as high rise on the back as I would like, but otherwise these are amazing and comfortable and I would happily grab a drink or dinner in the( admittedly very casual) PNW urban area after. These are not my first pair and will not be my last, but that ’s because I love them so much. The first ones from a few years ago are still holding up despite multiple slides on scree, grazes with my crampons, and other issues that lesser pants could never dream to be able to handle. They are long, but the edges are raw so you can hem them yourself. I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and so sometimes I get that pregnant- looking belly, and then they do feel tight, but that ’s true of almost everything. Normal bloating doesn ’ t make them uncomfortable. For me, I would say they run larger than almost all trousers but smaller than the Fjällräven Abisko trekking and trail tights.

These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

Came on here to see what other colours there is as I ’ m wanting another pair of these Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers……. and ended up writing this review..!! I do already have some other items of Fjallraven gear. These are now my ‘ go to trousers ’ when the weather is warmer here in England. I have had these about 6 week and initially they felt too hard wearing to be cool in warm weather, in a sense that they could be too warm……. they ARE hard wearing, but great in warmer weather and so I needn ’ t have worried( they were ideal in the warmer weather of Madeira)..!! The stretch in them is brilliant, either when hiking or for general use. I am a men ’s UK size 30 ”- 32 ” and went for the 30 ”. A touch ‘ snug ’ but how I ’ d personally prefer them. Right, best go back to shopping….!!!

I ordered these in several colors because they are comfortable and work well at the gym. They are on the thinner side though and in terms of sizing, I would say buy whatever your regular size is. I normally wear a XL but I ordered the XXL because I did not want them to cling to my skin( I 'm 65+) and show every lump and bump. But, I really did not have to do this and could have easily just worn my regular size. Again, they are thin and do not hold you in so if there is something that you do n't want to show, I would say get them in the darker colors or you could size up.

[ I can ’ t say enough great things about the Nike Chill Sweatpants. I feel like these pants are the perfect blend of leggings( based on the slimmer fit and high rise), joggers( taper on the ankles), and sweatpants( warmth for spring/fall not heavy like for winter). I ’ ve thrown these on to wear around the house( think Netflix and Chill); running kiddos to the bus stop; dressed up with cropped top and denim jacket. Definitely will be keeping these in heavy rotation and will likely snag another color way. For the hourglass hippy girlies, I ’ m normally a medium and I would say these fit true to size. They also come with an inner drawstring waist( think no waist gap!) However, be prepared to have the pockets stick out especially if you use them) making your hips appear larger. If this bothers me long term I ’ ll consider adding couple buttons to the pockets or an invisible zipper so that the pockets remain functional with a slightly more flattering lay. By no means is this a deal breaker for me though. LOVE them…

[ As of mom of 7, full time teacher, and someone who likes to work out and stay in shape, I need athletic wear that I can use multi- purpose. The first thing I noticed about these pants if the color and fabric- they are the perfect shade of greige to wear out and about with any color and hide any marks or wear and tear and the fabric is super soft to the touch! I appreciate the color because I like wearing lighter colors, but as a mom of 7 little kids, I 'm always afraid that will be noticeably dirty or stained too quickly. Thankfully, these pants stood the test of sticky little fingers and mom work! While I did experience getting them dirty, the marks and stickiness washed out easily and left no mark! I 'm VERY happy with the fabric quality in this regard. Some more pros of these pants: 1) they fit true to size( I got size small and I 'm 5' 8 '' 125lbs) with room to move. 2) The waist is the perfect mid/high rise for comfort. 3) The detailing makes them look much more polished than typical sweatpants. 4) The lightweight material is great for layering over running tights/shorts for layered workouts and truly does breathe well. 5) The thicker waistband is ideal for not having a pinch point on my waist when bending and lifting. Some cons: 1) the material is more coarse on the inside- it's not plush or soft. This is good for moisture- wicking, but not the most comfortable for lounging( so just be advised because I feel the title of `` sweatpants '' made me assume they would be cozier). 2) they run a bit shorter than I prefer( size small, 5' 8 '') and end about jogger length 3) the lightweight fabric is very breathable, but not `` warm '' or cozy like the title `` sweatpants '' implies to me- they are more of a tech sweatpant. Overall I really like them and the fact that they are easy clean and can transfer from home to workout so easily and with such style makes them a great purchase in my book!

I am 5' 8/179 pounds, typically wear a size 12 in jeans), fit is preferred by being slightly loose round my calves, thighs and glutes, and the ultra high- waist is comfortable regardless if sitting or standing. The fabric is light weight and amazingly soft, though rather transparent and would require either skin color undergarments, leggings or spandex underneath. I 'd consider these a perfect pair of sweats for spring/summer time running errands or relaxing around the house( any time of year). Overall I 'd recommend highly, especially due to fabric weight and softness.

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I bought these trousers more than 2 years ago. Got pregnant in the middle and only did I start wearing them since a year go. I am so impressed by how well they perform. I 've worn them in hikes, climbing, just for regular day wearing and at home. They fit me really good, so it's easy to wear them for different occasions and styles. The buckwheat color is beautiful and a nice change from typical black. They have a stretch waistband and stretch panels on the sides that helped as I was returning back from portpartum abdomen size. The knee precut space is roomie enough for hiking, but for climbing they felt a little tight, so I would n't recommend. I absolutely love the fabric for southern Spain weather, in summer they feel breathable and light, I just rolled the bottom of the legs, and in spring and autumn they feel perfect. In winter they also felt ok on milder weather days. They have a somewhat waterpellent treatment that also serves as dirt repellent that make them ideal if you work in dirty environments, the stain dries and you can brush it off. The pockets are so convenient I love using them at home to carry my phone and other essentials around comfortably. An overall great pair of trousers. Have n't tried the improved fit, but if this pair ever dies I will be repurchasing.
