Perfect for charging my phone, speakers and earphones love it

5 ScottJ
I will admit I was extremely skeptical after reading the 1 star reviews stating that the charger wont stand on its own without folding closed. I purchased anyway to see for myself and I will tell you that if you simply fold it gently backwards a little and for lack of a better term, brake it in, its stands perfectly on its own and does NOT fold closed. I have not tested it to see how long it takes to charge from 0% to fully charged but it did start charging immediately and with a 2A output I do n't expect a long charge cycle.

My wife and I now have four Nomad 50's. They fold up small enough that they are easy to tuck in when we boondock or go to our off- grid cabin. We use three to keep our Yeti fully topped up, and one for our 12v. trailer battery maintainer. I like the rugged construction and the ability to stand them on the ground with the fold out legs, or hang them, or lay them on the windshield of our truck. Very versatile.

5 cmorgan0
Purchased the Nomad 50 in June 2023. Tested it out in the backyard before the trip to the mountains. I learned to keep my device being charged out of the direct sun as it over heated and stopped accepting the charge from the Nomad 50. Once in the mountains, with lessons learned, charging my phone and other items was a breeze. Tip: Make sure you have the correct adaptors/cords you will need to connect to your devices that you want to charge and that they accept the USB connection that comes with the Nomad 50 and test before you go.

5 EP dude
I haven ’ t truly used it that much but it seems like it serves its purpose. I like the compactness of the product. And also the portability of it.

5 Nomad 50
It works great for me. Only bad thing is that I have duracell 500 power block and it took a while to find a connector that would fit the power block. Overall. I really like the Nomad 50. It's lightweight and easy to use. Maybe goal zero can make a connector for the duracell block 500.

5 SammyD
Used to charge a Yeti 200x and a Yeti 500x on a recent trip- this is the largest foldable panel GZ has with a USB out if you want to charge a smaller power bank or something else- I plan on getting another to chain together to get 100W while still having USB capability.

Purchased this for my son to take to college with him so he can keep his Sherpa 100 charged in a power outage. Did the same for my daughter. The 20 is built well and works great to keep smaller power packs charged. I have one and it has worked great over the years.

5 ConnellyOutdoors
I used Goal Zero for a 1, 500- mile, 75- day solo canoe and kayak expedition.( PaddleQuest 1500) The equipment performed so well that I upgraded for a recent Everglades circumnavigation expedition. Keeping the Venture 75 on charge all day, even with filtered sunlight gave me the juice necessary to keep navigation, communication and lights topped off. It ’s good to venture into the wilderness confident in my essential equipment!

5 thisguy8750
If it's been folded up for a while it's kind of hard to unfold and use other than that it's genuine goal zero quality.

5 Weagle
I have the Sherpa 100AC and the Sherpa 100PD and use my Nomad 20 to recharge them. I love that the Sherpa 100AC has passthrough charging, so I can daisy chain them and charge them both at once. My only complaint would be that the 8mm charging cable that can be stored on the back of the solar panel is getting twisted inside the sheathing. I believe this is due to the heat of leaving it charging for multiple hours in the sun, then wrapping it back up. I wonder how long the cable will last and it does n't appear to be swappable if it kinks/breaks at some point in the future. For now, everything is working as expected.

5 Jonny B210

Purchased this to power a new 12v portable fridge. Worked like a champ! Did a trial run and for almost 5- 6 hours during my test my Yeti remained at 100% power thanks to the sun and the Boulder. Feels heavier than 25 pounds, but it ’s heavy duty for sure. Money well spent.

5 MOH319
Like all Gold Zero products the Boulder 100 is built with quality in mind. The downside is you have to be a bodybuilder to carry it.

5 Colorado Kid
User Friendly, Quality Product, Works well with Goal Zero Solar Generators. Would recommend Goal Zero Products to anyone.

5 GravStorm
Purchased a Yeti 500X a few months back and decided to get a panel to go with it, mostly for outages. Used the Boulder 100 for the first time today. Cold( 10 F) winter day about 10: 30am and it was putting out 85 watts. It's sunny but the sun is very low in the sky so I was n't expecting that amount of power. Very pleased. It's a bit heavy so not taking it backpacking but is very solid and seems well built.

5 Squatch Fall tour 2021
Finally set off on our can life adventure! Found the Boulder briefcase easy to set up and pack away. Seems to charge our Goal Zero generator fairly well. Just have to adjust to the suns angle to get the best charge.

Great! At the job site and during professional travel.

5 Jack
The Rambler has quickly become an indispensable travel companion. I 've taken it camping, used it to power my laptop at the coffee shop and I have even flown across the country with it. I was a little bit worried that it would get flagged by TSA, but I have had no issues with it in my carry- on bag. I especially love that I do n't have to search for a power outlet at the terminal when I am flying. It is bigger than the 20K power bank that I had been using for a few years, but having a built- in AC outlet, wireless charging and more power capacity is worth it for me. I currently have an iPhone 12Pro that has an internal 2, 815mah battery and the Rambler provides nearly 4 phone recharges before I need to recharge it. However, I am usually using my phone at the same time so that is likely impacting my recharge rate to some extent. I was pleasantly surprised by the solid design, and I have really liked the digital display that shows the wattage being used and the battery life percentage remaining, so I do n't have to guess. All in all, I 've loved it and have even received a few compliments from fellow travelers.

[ I had been using two Boulder 100 briefcases to power my 1400 unit and it was n't quite enough for our energy needs. After adding one of the 200 briefcase units charging is so much faster and now I have options for how many panels I want to set up. This unit is quite heavy compared to the smaller 100 units so expect having to wrestle them around in addition to turning them around to follow the sun. Overall I 'm glad I added the larger size to my collection. Keep a microfiber cloth around to wipe them off to maximize solar capture. I 'm in the camp that Goal Zero should have put the glass panels inward as the unit folds for transportation. The fabric cover wo n't protect against bumps even if some scratches are avoided.

5 Drsignguy
After having the Boulder 200 Briefcase for about a week now, I have to honestly say that it is one tough solar panel. I have read some the reviews about the weight and the case that comes with it and I will mention that is a few. The product does great on feeding my LiFePO4 battery the power it needs and the controller is very easy to use. The weight, to some may be heavy but I prefer it as the outside elements throws curves once in a while and when this sits on the ground, it stays. you can move it with ease to keep it facing the sun. The case is just fine. protects it as it should. The wiring and connections are very well done, and I do n't have to worry for bad connections. All in all, I feel this is a great product to have and I know It will hold up for years.

5 Studd Pyles
When my 1000 watt yeti and 200 watt boulder briefcase showed up, my life completely changed! Generally sunny every day in southern Colorado, the unit charged to 100% easily in the time specified. Whilst changing the unit, I continually charged tool batteries an ran various power tools throughout the day. In the evenings I was able to charge phone, speaker and headphones, while I plugged in a 55 watt LED shop light and 45 watt boot dryer. I look forward to plugging in a variety of appliances and more power tools in the near future! Being winter and at 8600ft, I take some precautions when its gets below zero. Like every tool, the operator needs to take care and be responsible in adverse conditions, easily kept warm with a down jacket or sleeping bag at night or whilst charging during the day. Sure the unit and panels be a little heavy, or awkward to set up, sure beats not having electricity! Fellow permacampers recommended it to me and I no complaints yet! I ca n't imagine a solar unit could weigh less for the power it generates. Like every tool, it is a tool, the owner needs to figure out how to use it and ways to be more efficient with it!

5 Karen in Boston
This is my 4th goal zero product. I step it up every time. Love the brand, ease of use and customer service.

[ Light last a good bit. It ’s easy to move around. Holds in in stormy weather conditions. It lights up my entire property. I love it I can see all around my house at night now.

5 corrinam14_3999
[ This solar light is amazing! I ’ ve had it for awhile but wanted to test it out for awhile. It has a great longevity. It looks just like a real flare, but it brighter. You can adjust the light setting to whatever your preference is. It ’s been out in the weather for weeks and is still holding up. It comes with a pole and you can set it up wherever you like. The pole is adjustable to whatever height you like. I would highly recommend this product to anyone! I love it!

5 irishblessings916_574
[ I love how easy it was to put together out of the box. The 3 different torch options are helpful for whatever you are doing. The pole and the torch both seem to be durable and will last quite a few seasons.

5 stephaniez1_4385
[ I love this lantern so much! The light in offers great ambience, and I love that it is actually working to keep bugs away at the same time. I can reposition whenever necessary and it ’s held up great in all weather.
