The tie of the bobber stopper does n't slide up and down the line, so it is very helpful when fishing at a set depth

5 ChadE
I bought these to go with my Thill slip bobbers, they grip the line and give you plenty of lead to pull the knot tight. Comes on a nifty little plastic tune to easily slip the stop from, onto your line. I keep a bunch of these.

5 efishing
Perfect for steelhead fishing, when fishing in deep water.

I ’ m so happy I bought these!! Thank you for the great product!

5 TrevorNYC
These bobber stops work very well-- especially for rods with small diameter guiides that other bobber stops get stuck on. I find it's not even necessary to trim the string, which is recommended but hard to do. Just tie one on and leave the excess string on-- it saves work and does n't interfere with the functioning of the bobber stop. It also makes the bobber stop easier to see.

Recently started to use sliding bobbers and man what i difference in quality with these compared to the ones that come prepackaged in some of the bobber offerings. The line holds up much better and the beads are the perfect diameter for my fishing line.

5 ParentOfFiveYoungers
Bought this lure as a small offering for Bass looking for a smaller bait. Love this bait!

5 Strocker
Good fishing lure to have in the arsenal at a good price.

5 Poppy2
The Johnson Beetle Spin works great in the fall( other seasons too). But, in the fall crappies seem especially attracted to the agitation to the water of the spinner blade.

5 TJPH
Great little spinner bait. Works well for the fish I am targeting.

Frequently Asked Questions For Stick Bobber

A stick bobber is a type of fishing float that helps anglers detect bites by rising or sinking in the water. It is typically attached to the fishing line and can be used in various fishing environments, such as lakes, rivers, or ponds. The buoyancy of the bobber allows it to indicate when a fish is nibbling on the bait, making it easier for anglers to know when to reel in.

Stick bobbers are often made from lightweight materials such as plastic or foam, which provide buoyancy while ensuring durability. Some bobbers may also feature additional components like weights or reflective surfaces to enhance visibility. The choice of material can affect the bobber's performance in different water conditions.

Stick bobbers are versatile and can be used for various types of fishing, including freshwater and saltwater applications. They are particularly effective for panfish, trout, and other species that feed near the surface. However, the size and weight of the bobber should be matched to the type of fish being targeted and the fishing conditions.

Choosing the right size stick bobber depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting, the depth of the water, and the weight of your bait. A larger bobber may be necessary for deeper waters or heavier baits, while smaller bobbers are ideal for shallow areas or lighter presentations. It's important to consider these factors to ensure effective fishing.

Yes, stick bobbers can be used in various weather conditions, but their effectiveness may vary. In windy conditions, larger or weighted bobbers may be more stable, while smaller bobbers can be affected by waves. Additionally, visibility can be impacted by overcast skies, so choosing brightly colored bobbers can help maintain visibility regardless of the weather.
