I use this hat whenever I have to go outside for more than 5 minutes. The brim is extra wide and extra long in how it wraps around your head. I have a degenerative eye disease and am also quite photophobic so this hat is a godsend. Not only does it shield my face completely from the sun all the way around from ear to ear, the sides of the brim are out of the normal field of vision so it does not distract from my ability to see peripherally. I have many many visors and I found that if you put a makeup sponge wedge inside the visor it makes a world of difference. Takes away the pain. You can fix to your liking and it ’s hidden. Glad I found this little trick. Lady Hagar are the best made of all the visors& can be expensive. Try it!
