Unfortunately, that style was discontinued and their other stride lites just do n't have the same footbed at all, so I was searching for a new casual shoe to wear every day and on trips. This shoe is wide enough for my feet to swell a little bit, after walking several miles, and has a very mild arch, which is perfect for my flat feet. I love every pair of Allbirds I have( 5 I think!). I got these for walking and am normally a pretty basic colors sort of person. Allbirds are bringing me out of my shell. While they look like they lace, they are actually slip on shoes and the laces are for looks. I like that. I went up 1/2 size because my other Allbirds are pretty snug across the top of my high instep when I wear even the lightest socks. All others I have bought my usual 6 1/2 M and I am happy to wear them all day every day without socks. The insole is comfortable enough and the slip ons are like wearing gloves. They offer perfect support for my high arch and my feet do n't get tired after a whole day of wearing them. Loving these shoes so far! I know some people have complained about the Velcro strap that it sits weird and can be tight, but honestly I love it. [ If you are looking for a nice, comfortable, light weight running shoe, then the Zoom Pegasus Flyease are it. It really feels like you are running on clouds. The shoe runs sightly big, but once I but a thick sock on with them they fit fine. I love how the shoe doesn ’ t have shoestrings that you tie up, instead a velcro strap that keeps your foot tight and snugged in the shoe. You just put your foot in and go. I ’ m a sprinter, it felt so good running in them and not once did the strap loosen. Also, the sole of the shoe is very thick and gives you a little height. Although the sole of the shoe is thick the shoe is very light. Even if your not a runner I would recommend these shoes as a every day shoe because of the comfort.

I typically do n't buy shoes that have velcro straps. These shoes really changed my mind on velcro. They are so easy to put on. They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men ’s 11 or 11. 5 Medium. The 11. 5 is just right- with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.

I have been desperate to replace my Nike Free Run 5. 0 shoes and couldn ’ t find anything that worked until these! Easy to slip on, nice stretch, super comfortable. I just wish they had the all white available in the wider version because I do have wider feet, but the stretch supports me well.

For the last several years, I have had a pair or two of Adidas in my stable. I had a pair of Adios and when those were ready to retire, tried the Boston 12( which I absolutely adored and got so many miles in). I was really tempted to buy another pair of Bostons but decided to try the EVO Sl instead. No regrets. The foam is awesome, the sole is super sturdy and great for a day( but especially wet conditions), and the fit and styling are perfection. Highly recommend for a versatile daily trainer.

I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I felt like I was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh bouncing around the hospital all night.

I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

Good looking shoe out of the box, and super light weight!! depending on which Nike shoe I buy, I ’ m a 9. 5/10W, so I went with a 10W to give my toes extra room. Perfect fit with enough room. After putting them on the shoes were super comfortable very spongy and supportive. Took them out for a 3 mile run the next day and they were amazing, responsive, no heel slippage, feet weren ’ t sliding, and honestly make you want to go faster. Can ’ t speak on previous models of the zoom x as i never tried them out, but would definitely recommend this one if you ’ re looking for a daily trainer for short, longer miles, speed work etc.
