They work outstanding in both environments! I appreciate they feel much more like a regular towel over a major competitors brand that I 've used for years that feels like a shammy you dry your car with. They both dry quickly and pack down small but you ca n't beat the next to skin feel of the Tek Towels. Pay attention to the sizing/recommendations.
