I bought this to use when camping and it's a great cooking surface. I 've owned quite a few and this is the first I do n't have to worry about the surface warping. Its nice to store everything inside under the griddle when not in use: cooking utensils and a couple of propane bottles. Has its own grease trap that works well too. Wish the hard cover came with.

Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. We use this with a cast iron skillet and griddle to make all sorts of breakfast foods. This fits perfect over our fire pit and works exactly as expected. We do store it in the garage so it does not rust. I have noticed some warping due to the high heat but that hasn ’ t ruined the product for what we use it for.

So, I just reviewed the solo stove 1. 0 but I got a request to review the fire ring as well. All I can say is it is mandatory if you are using the soli stove on your lawn or like I use mine, on a wooden deck. It keeps the stove from burning its mark into the wood or lawn. A necessity unless you 're using the stove at a camp ground or out in a remote place with no worries about scorched earth when you are done. With the ring you can use the stove on your front lawn with no burn marks. So, yes, it is worth the extra$ 50 to be at piece of mind...

owned this smoker for a year. I live in a condo with size ans fuel type restrictions, and the CS fits the bill. With the sliding flame vent you can char steaks and hamburger. I 've had two racks of ribs on at. one time and 4 5 lb Boston butts. Takes some experimenting to get the smoke to heat ratio right for your preference. Makes a great smoker to 2 to 4 people.

Good grill. Assembly and set- up was easy, instructions were very clear. So far, temperature control seems pretty good. The sear function is great to have. Tons of space in the grill, though all the extra shelves are a bit annoying, but easy to take out and leave aside.
