They are trendy- looking enough for my 13 and 15- year olds to wear to school and to hang out with their friends. The only potential negative is that they are such a light material that they are not very warm... so do n't assume they would be good to keep you comfortable on very cold outdoor days. Exceptional jogger. Love the light fabric. Excellent mobility. I have muscular thighs and extra large calves. This jogger works for me. I can even where a 150 base layer underneath if needed. The seam above the knee was concerning when I first tried on the jogger, but I have never had an issue and now completely forgot about it. Highly recommended.
