I recently bought the Sea to Summit Telos 2 tent and wanted to protect my investment, so I also purchased the footprint for it. The package is really nice for it and to be honest, I thought that I 'd have a hard time getting it back into its pouch, but it folds up nicely and packs down small. I do a lot of backpacking where I sleep on rocks or directly on granite( hello, Sierras), so it was important for me to be able to protect the bottom of the tent. This does the job nicely and is super easy to install with the Telos 2 Tent. I love the fact that I can also keep this attached to the Telos Tent's rainfly if the weather is bad, or just set it up with the fly, without the actual tent for some ground protection and extra shade for a quick rest. I gave it 4 out of 5, only because I felt like it needed to be just a tad bit larger. It fits the bottom dimensions of the tent nearly perfectly, but I wish it was just a tad larger. When I was recently camping along California's Lost Coast, and we had wind gusts of 40mph, I noticed that the actual tent would shift just a tad off of the footprint, exposing the edges to the ground below. I was in sand, so was n't a big deal, but if the ground was harsh or muddy, the tent itself could have been impacted. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

[ I bought this about a month ago for a wilderness fishing trip with my boys. Spent 4 nights in the bush, 3 days of rain, one tornado near miss. Slept in my ENO hammock under this rain fly and never got wet. My boys slept in high tech tents and while the tents kept the rain out from above some gear did get wet from water intrusion from below. Excellent performance in rain and high wind. Highly recommended.

[ I bought two for my son and grandson. The kept them dry in a pounding Adirondack rain storm while on a canoe trip. Goes up easily and the Velcro keepers on the corners and peaks are handy for containing the cordage. Extended out over the end of two generic hammocks and kept them dry.
5
Richard
[ The rainfly was easy to set up. It started raining while I was setting it up, and my hammock stayed dry. It rained through the night as well, but I did n't even notice until I woke up in the morning. I used tautline hitches instead of the built- in `` LineLoc adjustors '' to tighten the guylines because I did n't realize what those adjustors were.

[ I recently completed the 20 mile Manistee River Loop Trail and spent two nights in this tent. I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase as the tent performed flawlessly. As I write, it is 2024. I have had the tent since 2016. I use it as a 1- person tent. I average about 45 days a year in this tent. It is not uncommon for me to pitch it, and leave it set- up, for 14 days at a time... this long UV- exposure use is hard on tents. I have had zero problems with the tent. Never got wet, never blown away, no repairs, zippers are still 100%. It is, of course, pretty darn snug if used by two people... but, that's the nature of 2- person backpacking tents, regardless of make/model.

When I ordered this tent I took a chance since I had never heard of this brand. I ’ m glad I did. It looks to be a high quality tent at about half the price of other brands. The seams are well sealed which is usually not the case. I set it up to seal them at it wasn ’ t necessary. I will probably be looking for this brand more often.

My 2p Marmot Tungsten has been very reliable. It kept me dry through a few very heavy downpours in the Midwest. With doors on both sides, access remains easy whether I am by myself or have a tent mate. Perfect for myself and my hiking gear. Rainfly can be used multiple ways for either privacy, easy access or wind- flow. For the price, it is durable and reliable.

This spring I took the greatest leap of adolescence and bought my first tent independent of my family. I knew I needed something that toed the fine line between durability and portability, as I would primarily be using it for river trips and backpacking. After an extensive and frankly obsessive research process, only the Tungsten 2p met my many demands. After some agonizing, I decided to take the leap, despite never owning a Marmot tent before. I am so glad I did! My first night in this tent, my dog and I stayed warm and dry despite the inch of snow that fell on top of us. This tent vents in a way that frankly I did n't know was possible and feels relatively spacious for being just a 2 person. I would say it can comfortably fit two average sized people and two medium sized packs. I have used it now for an entire spring and summer season in the peaks of the San Juans and various river canyons of the Southwest. Never once have I awoken to a drop of condensation nor had it rattle in obnoxious winds. Its quick and easy to set up solo and can pack down incredibly small. The wide open mesh top allows for spectacular star viewing and perhaps best if all, it's a spectacular color! I could n't recommend this tent enough if you need something light and durable or just want to make a wise investment in an introductory tent. 100/10

[ The Tungsten 3P tent held up in light rain and heavy wind on a backpacking trip along the west coast. Have n't tried it in heavy rain yet but so far, no condensation drips into the tent so that's a good sign. Also it packs down pretty light. Would recommend purchasing 4 additional stakes since this tent comes with 4 guy lines and no stakes for them.

I could take more care to remove my shoes if I wanted to use that space to sit, but its not really been an issue.

[ I have a ultralight tent that uses trekkin poles but I do n't always want to use them. These poles are easily adjustable with a very good range, study yet very light and I feel they put less wear on the pockets than the trekking poles. In any event I prefer having my hands free to carrying my poles in many situations and my dog does too. I have n't used them for my sil- tarp yet but I do n't see why they would n't work just as well.

[ When I first bought these, I 'd intended to use them with a basha shelter. But, the basha does n't do that well of a job keeping the wind out! So, I found a guy named `` Papa Hiker, '' and pitched several of his enclosed tarp shelters! I found a modified version of his Hex Tarp pitch, and those poles fit the bill perfectly! The shelter calls for a 125 cm trekking pole, but it just does n't collapse for easy storage; these poles do! I have no problems crawling into the tarp, and with another tarp on the ground underneath, I 'm dry! Ventilation is my only problem... other than that, these poles are great!

[ I purchased a Big Agnes tent for lightweight backpacking, and decided that adventure bikepacking is a go too... so, I ordered these poles to use when I do n't have my Trekking Poles. The adjustable option is perfect and I might even consider taking these poles when I just do n't take the hiking sticks for a short trip. Must buy! Cheers,

[ I purchased a Big Agnes tent that used trekking poles rather that having tent poles. I purchased these tarp poles so I could use the tent on bike trips. They seem to work in a home test. I only gave them four stars due to my lack of field testing over repeated trips. They do seem well made and durable. The lengths are well marked( in metric numbers). I typically like to travel light, so I am pleased that this minimalist 2- person tent weighs less four pounds.

[ I bought this to be used on a 2 week trip. The rain fly works as it should. It is easy to set up and worked well in a few Pennsylvania summer thunder storms. If you need a rain fly for your Eno hammock look no further.

[ Quality product as always. Big enough to run a tandem hammock setup under one rain fly or give you plenty of space for a solo setup. I bought a 2nd for my girlfriends setup just in case the tandem setup didn ’ t work. Kept it anyway because they ’ re awesome and it never hurts to have a spare rain fly lying around. I should mention I left my hammock setup in my back yard for several weeks last summer through multiple thunderstorms. Stayed dry as could be and held up to some pretty powerful winds.

[ Bought this a bit ago and it is great! In a pinch it can cover 2 stacked hammocks even in driving rain. I ’ ve used it twice and had no issues so far! A+

[ Bought it to use over top my S2S hammock. Fits like a glove and adds so much protection from the elements. Really packs down small. I 'd say it lacks a bit in the stitching quality aspect. However, everything else is top notch! Really usefully to have if you packed extra gear or just want a nice place to chill when it's raining.

[ It's a bit on the heavier side but in situations where you want full coverage, it's worth every ounce. It's not prohibitively weighty unless one's concerned with ultralight camping.

[ I have really enjoyed the Eagles Nest Profly XL so far. It has gotten me and my hammock through a few rainy nights since I purchased it a few weeks ago. Very happy with the quality of the material as well.

LumberJ OR
[ I keep a hammock and this rain fly in my fishing pack. I ended up getting caught in a down pour and decided to just spend the night two weeks ago since the fishing was so great at this high mountain lake. The winds were over 30 mph and I was completely dry. Kind of cold because I didn ’ t have a sleeping bag but it worked!

[ Bought the Profly XL expecting it to be larger than what I needed since I already had a Profly. I was very pleased with the coverage provided and think it ’s the better choice.

[ Just what I was looking for. First two times it was used got decent rain and it stayed perfectly dry. Had very strong winds that collapsed one side( while nobody was in it and I don ’ t have it tied down, just staked) and it popped right back up when the wind stopped. No damage. The “ wings ” make it a little more difficult to set up with a good tight stretch on all sides, but I do love that extra space inside.

ABR Paddler
[ This is just a preliminary review, since I have yet to have the opportunity to use it yet. However, it set it up in my home. So far, it ’s pretty impressive, especially for value. Set up was easy, although a small hiccup with the fly. I was centering the vestibule zipper and things weren ’ t wuite lining up. I went back to the photo of the tent and once I realized that the zipper aligns with the wing, it was easy peasy. The tent is plenty roomy, and just love the wings. Whichever Marmot engineer thought of that is a genius!!! I thought it might just be a gimmick, but it ’s utilitarian and thoughtful. I also love the extra large doors which make getting your gear in a breeze. All the stitching looked great. Time will tell once I get this tent out in the outdoors, but so far, Im delighted with my Limelight 3P

[ Pirchased as a backpacking tent for two where we can split into two packs and manage the weight a little better. Will also use a a mobile and compact car camping tent with just my wife and I as we plan on doing more nationall parks and pacific coast driving adventures in our smaller, better gas mileage vehicle. Super happy with our purchase!

[ Very spacious and functional tent for 2 people. The wings are a great addition to store gear without taking sleeping space, and the rainfly performs very well in inclement weather. Small enough for a weekend overnight backpacking trip

[ So I bought this tent for a trip into the Angeles mountains with friends and it was great!! It ’s the little things that matter with this tent. You have ample room with the vestibules areas and the poles are colored coded so it only took me 5 minutes to set up the actual tent. I got my socks wet during the trip and clothes hanger worked perfectly along with having more than enough room inside.

I love the design. I have the Elixir 1 and use that when I bikepack Very spacious for a 3 person backpacking tent. I 'm pretty sure the people who are commenting about the lack of waterproof may be referring to the morning dew/ condensation of moisture that builds up on the inside of the tent in the early morning. One the best tent companies out here.
