5 Fenfrog
Just bought a pair of these for hiking in cold weather. Not too thick and good grip on the Trekking poles. The touchscreen functionality was great so I can use my phone for navigation without taking my gloves off. Not sure what I ’ m going to use the zipper pockets on the Back for, but they seem to be well- made and keep my hands warm without being too bulky. Would buy them again.

5 Cdpope
[ The gloves are great for liners in a mitten but are exceptionally warm by themselves. When its super cold they easily slip under a pair of mittens or larger gloves. Very happy with the Smartwool liner gloves.

5 Aimski
[ I bought a pair of these liners for myself as my hands are always cold while skiing. My boyfriend asked me about them and I said I love them! You can pull your hand out of a heavy ski mitten and use your phone with these on! I do n't even have to use the throw- away hand warmers any longer! LOVE THESE SO MUCH I BOUGHT A PAIR FOR MY BOYFRIEND AND HE LOVES THEM TOO!!!

5 Gabby
[ I got these liners for a mountaineering trip. Tried them out last weekend ice climbing and they worked great! I also used them as standalone gloves on a warmer, dry day and they worked well.

5 Dirty Yellow Shorts
[ I bought these gloves to use during a 100- mile race to keep my hands from freezing into useless nubs. I carried them the entire time yet the temps never dropped below 67 degrees. HOWEVER. They were lightweight enough that they did n't slow me down, if it HAD gotten cold then I 'm confident my hands would have stayed toasty warm, and I still love the color as it matches my aesthetic. You should buy these gloves. Worst case, you do n't need them but at least you look trendy and ready for anything.

5 Kate
[ Kept hands warm at 45 degree with light rain. Not itchy at all. And the touchscreen compatible finger tips actually work!( Unlike about every other “ touchscreen compatible ” pair of gloves I ’ ve owned)

5 Jaskudic
I have been searching for a product that isn ’ t bulky and I can actually feel my fingers. These fit perfect!

5 A Saint
I bought these early in January when rumors of a snowstorm started swirling around. I also bought them for my son to use for track. They helped a little with the snow( they are not waterproof), but they are perfect for track. They are not bulky, so they do n't get in the way if he puts them in his pocket, and they fit him like a glove. We could n't find the gray ones, but the black ones did, as promised.

I ’ ve recently purchased the Gerbing Men 's 7V Atlas Ultra- Flex Battery Heated Gloves. I have other pairs of heated gloves, but these are by far the best. The flexibility they offer is perfect for my needs, and I ’ m sure they ’ ll provide many years of warm comfort. I still ride all winter long, and without Gerbing products, it would never be this comfortable.

Heats decent.... not smoking hot. I disliked the long cuff. Its longer than a full gauntlet also and impossible to get under the jacket sleeve. If I wear it over the jacket I risk letting water in.

I 've used these gloves for back country ski touring and cold weather biking. They are a nice mid- weight glove. The leather is nice but as I am not using them for `` driving ''( which is how they were marketed) I will be interested to see how long the supple leather holds up. Comfortable and warm.

5 Korben J

Working at a ski resort I see below zero temps on my way home and thats the exact reason i bought these. love them for clearing snow of the windows and just for keeping my hands warm while the car warms up! I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I was very happy, with the sub 0° temps, my hands stayed warm. With those temps, I did keep them on the high setting knowing that I had also purchased a 2nd set of batteries which I 'm glad i did. I also have a Action Heat vest that i bought a few years ago and its been great too.

Worth every penny. Bought for skiing- keeps hands warm and dry

5 JerrySkis
Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

5 Steve1222
Bought this a month ago have used them snowmobiling, shoveling, and snowboarding. They have kept my hands warm and dry

5 Tunesteak
I have used these for the last 3 snow shoveling events and they are great. They came with glove liners which, although not easy to get on, kept my hands warm on a day with below zero windchills. I have also used them without the liners on days that were somewhat warmer and they still kept my hands warm and dry. They are flexible enough to securely grip a shovel or a snow brush without any problem.

Lightweight gloves that still keep your hands warm without all of the bulk.

5 Zachary D
I have the intermediate weight OR sensor gloves used mountaineering in the Alps and really liked them. I was hoping these had allowed for better dexterity and they did. I ’ ve used this for everyday wear, rucking, hunting and some mountaineering in Maine. The coldest I ’ ve worn these were at around 10°F with the windchills around- 2°F. I was active during my wear and had no issues. I find these stay try better than the intermediate OR glove and really think the grid interior keeps my hand dryer and warmer than the intermediate.

5 Patroller Jon
Nice liner gloves. Heavy weight. Feel like they might last for a while. They are sort of bulky to fit into other gloves, but work great as a liner in mitts and overmits. Perfect combination for me.

Sometimes you want a lighter, thinner glove that makes it easier to manipulate things in your pack, pull skins, dig pits, etc. Other days you want a glove that keeps you warm and dry when it ’s dumping and windy on the chairlift. These are those gloves. The inner liner can be pulled out to dry faster, and the long gauntlet shell keeps rain and snow where it ’s supposed to be. I supplemented the included Nikwax for better coverage and seam sealing. So far these are my favorite in- bounds gloves in years, better than the Hestras and Kincos I have used in the past.

5 Jackson G
These gloves were used on an expedition cruise to Antarctica where I did zodiac rides and hiking. They kept my hands warm in sub- freezing temps, no issue! They are bulky so you loose some dexterity, but that ’s just how it ’s going to be with these gloves. It was nice to be able to remove the GorTex outer and use the inner glove on more temperate days. Would recommend to anyone who needs a solid cold weather glove.

5 Nghia T
Very similar to the Firebrand Line from OR. Keep your hands warm and dry. Great for hiking, camping, skiing, winter work.

4 Nate T
I got several pair of these gloves for snowboarding/skiing. They are very warm with they liners. We have only used them on days were the temps were in the 20 's and we did n't need the liners. They are dry and I love the features such as the tethers and cuff cinch. They are bulky with the liners and tend to run a bit large. My 16 year old son wears the small and I can fit the medium. Overall they are a fantastic glove at a very good price.

4 Joseph M
Great glove, best suited for 10 to- 10. Past- 10 need hand warmer to continue using. But worked great blocking wind and snow, retained warmth.

5 Treavor
[ Comfortable gloves! I wish the touch were a little more sensitive for phone screens, but these gloves are otherwise great!

5 IffyO
[ I e never been the type of person to get excited over gloves…trust me. But the powder lite II gloves that I purchase from Colombia were game changers for me. My new gloves aren ’ t bulky like ALL of my gloves throughout my life have been; I am seriously now experiencing what the term “ fits like a glove ” means. Additionally, the gloves have that unique reflective warming lining that ’s also in my new Colombia jacket( which is also awesome). And they allow me to type on my phone screen without having to pull off my glove by its fingers with my teeth like I had to do in the past. Overall this is definitely a great buy.

I ’ ve had a pair of these Flurry Sensor gloves for well over five years. I commute on bike in near zero degree Rocky Mountain winters and they are warmer than my heavy duty gloves I ski with( Kinkos, Marmot big mountain). I ’ d wear these on the slopes if they had some kind of outer layer.

5 RobC
Definitely toasty with a nice grip. I actually got the gloves to use after winter paddling for loading my surf ski or sup onto the car. After paddles, I 'm usually wet and a tad cold so the gloves have helped with keeping my fingers warm and flexible without losing grip of my gear.

5 John
I like these alot very high quality and warm. Sensor tips work well with cell phone.

Warm and comfortable. I use them on their own and under my OR gloves as an extra layer for skiing on cold days. Great for doing up the kids ski boots without getting cold hands.

5 Andrew F
Gloves have a great fit, allow for dexterity and are very comfortable. They can be used as a beefed up base layer glove. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

5 T
Planning on using these once it cools down, July in Denver is no jokes but that 's also probably why they were marked down so much. They are soft, and the medium fit my hands perfectly, I 'm sure these will come in handy once Fall/Winter hits. Also, the red color really pops!

5 Cody
Good mid/ lighter weight gloves for skinning in winter also good in spring/ fall weather.

5 Nails
These are super comfy and soft, thin enough to stay agile for tying knots or any other campsite tasks, but cozy enough to stay warm. I do n't think I would trust these to last super long on the trail using trekking poles all day, but that 's not what these are for. They 're more like glove liners or campsite gloves than proper technical gloves. But for the price, fit, comfort and style, you ca n't beat them. They match up perfectly with my Trail Mix 1/4 Zip Pullover, which is great for those pics/vids while you 're hanging around the campgrounds. Just wish they had more colors.

5 Elijah E
The fit is great, they worked well in sub- 10 degrees F windy conditions. The palms are synthetic not natural, so use them appropriately. Very warm, comfortable, and kept out the wind. Good for light to medium work like shoveling snow. Good for all users from beginner to expert.

5 NoName
This is my 3rd pair of this model, going back many years. I agree with the other review that it has been downsized; previously I wore a size L and had plenty of room; now I wear a size XL and it 's not as roomy as my older ones, but still adequate. I 'm giving it a 5 star review because of its simplicity and the excellent wind blocking. Most gloves are too tight at the wrist, which reduces circulation and makes taking them on/off difficult. The straight cuff on these is perfect, and they 're easy to get on and off. The sensor finger feature works better than any other brand I 've tried. I hope this stays unchanged in the lineup for many more years.

5 Chad B
The glove works well for a base layer but not a stand alone glove.

5 James
I 've been using the Men 's Apex Insulated Etip Gloves for a few weeks now, and I 'm thoroughly impressed. These gloves strike a perfect balance between warmth, comfort, and practicality. The insulation does an excellent job of keeping my hands warm during colder temperatures, yet they 're not overly bulky, allowing for good dexterity. One of my favorite features is the Etip functionality, which genuinely works as advertised. Using my phone or smartwatch outdoors is seamless- I do n't have to remove the gloves to send messages or answer calls, which is a significant convenience. The gloves are well- constructed with quality materials that feel durable and resilient against wear and tear. The soft interior lining adds an extra layer of comfort. Overall, the Men 's Apex Insulated Etip Gloves are a reliable choice for anyone needing warmth and smartphone compatibility without sacrificing comfort or practicality. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

5 Jeb B
These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

5 Eric A
I like this glove for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and even XC ski in cold weather... basically anything with active athletic energy level. Not warm enough for standing around ice- fishing in New England. They are very durable and well- made. Quite warm for how light they are, due to the combo of soft lining, leather palm, and waterproof synthetic shell. Lighter than a true ski glove, but more solid and weatherproof than a jogging glove. Nice middle ground.

5 Rob
Perfect gloves for winter in Brooklyn. Really pleased so far with the fit and warmth.

5 Rick

Gloves where really comfortable and keep my hands warm all times

5 Ian L
I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store. What these are good for is cool weather and general use. The gloves fit my hands well and do n't have the odd long finger length that I get with most other gloves. These are great for protecting and keeping my hands warm and look good. I use them for quick dog walks and sitting at Fall and Winter soccer games watching my kid. What they 're not good for is winter weather. Here in NC we 've been getting some pretty cold temps of late and my finger tips will start getting cold and these are not water proof. The features I really like:- they have the pointer fingers on the gloves that work on your phone touch screen- the palm grips are great- pull on loops located on the wrist to help get the gloves on.

5 KJMK
These are snug and comfortable. They are not meant for temps below 20F. They work great for what I need and I can be functional while wearing them.

5 Joe Schmoe from Idaho

I love these, they are the perfect thickness just slightly warmer/thicker than my OR Vigor Lightweight gloves, and just slightly thinner than my OR Vigor Mid- Weight gloves. I love these, ended up buying a second pair in black as well. These are just right for hiking/hunting in the winter. Great dexterity, nice fit, and the sensor tips actually work really well with my iPhone. These are my new favorite gloves.

4 Tom G
Thumb is stiched about a half inch too long for me and the pointer finger is definitely tight and will cut off circulation. They do however keep my hands warm enough when I am out running.

4 Travis B
They keep your hands warm down to about 20F, while blocking out wind. Thin enough to still manipulate a firearm. The thumb is a bit longer than I like but this may be a me problem.

Great glove. no complaints so far. My favorite part is that the liners are removable and the main glove still has some insulation.

4 Christian V
The gloves are warm and comfortable thus far, although they ’ ve not been put through any extreme days yet. Over the cuff three finger gloves are a rarity, so I ’ m glad to see more of them, as that ’s my preferred style. These get bonus points for having a “ nose wipe ”, as that ’s something I ’ ve found myself really missing on gloves that don ’ t have them. My only complaint is that the gloves seem to run very large compared to the size charts( of which there are multiple, depending on where you look, and they conflict with each other). I bought a size small pair for my sister as a Christmas gift, and they are large enough that I could wear them with only very slight discomfort, despite the fact that I generally wear a size 9( or Men ’s Large) glove. If you can try them on in person or can exchange them for a different size, I ’ d have no issues recommending them. If you ’ re ordering online and won ’ t be able to exchange them, either because of vendor policies or time constraints, I ’ d consider other options if you have them.

A needed upgrade to my old gloves. Use them in CO all winter skiing, and only need hand warmers when temps drop to single digits. Otherwise, keep my hands super warm and dry. Would definitely buy again.

Not the smallest item in my pack but nothing is better when it gets cold. Worth the extra space!

Took these gloves on a late season walk hunt. Snowed several of the days. These gloves kept my hands warm no matter what I was doing. I fully recommend them to everyone!

I have owned these mittens through two seasons now. Through that time they have held up very well through trees, being dragged on the ground, and carrying around sharp edges of a snowboard. I waited on making a review to see how they held up over time after being completely soaked and dried numerous times, and evaluate the wear on the palm. Both have impressed, but not as much as their warming capability. The thing that will separate these from other mittens is their ability to warm while wet. They are not as waterproof as some other gloves as this price point, but they are the warmest mittens I have ever used and they retain that warming ability even when the inside is saturated. My suggestion would be an alternative to velcro for the wrist cuff as snow gets caught on it very easily, making it difficult to use( draw string?). These gloves have been used between temps of 15- 45 degrees F on the west and east coast in clear and stormy conditions. Picture displays palm wear after 1. 5 seasons of heavy use.

These mitts kept my hands warm even on cold days! I did go out on a wet and warm day but it did n't seem to wet out on me on those days. If the mittens were exposed to water for a long duration of time then it may have soaked through. Overall great mittens and I would get them again!
