I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Firstly I love the TP5. I am a high launch/high spin player. The X just flew too high for me into the wind. I find that I get a bit lower launch with the TP5 and is easier for me to control the spin with. Durability is also pretty darn good for a tour ball( barring cart path, rocks, or trees- you could play the same ball a second round). I love the stripe! It helps me with putting AND lining up on tee shots. I only wish they offered the colors for the stripe like they do on the Response. But for those color averse- the blackish grey of this stripe isn ’ t distracting and very useful.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. The feel of these balls is amazing, especially around the greens, where they provide excellent feedback and control. They also feel great off the putter, which is a big plus for me. While I didn ’ t notice significant improvements in distance compared to other golf balls I ’ ve used, the Chrome Soft delivers on its promise of low spin and consistent performance. It ’s comparable to the TaylorMade Tour Response in terms of feel, but I felt the Chrome Soft had slightly lower spin and equally solid driving distance.

Chrome Tour performs extremely well for all aspects of my game. Its long off the tee and long irons, with plenty of spin greenside to be able to play more aggressively. All this while maintaining a relatively soft feel( not as soft as Chrome Soft, but still soft). Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. I 've been playing the golf balls for a year now. Love the new alignment other ball. Tried playing a ProV1x along with the Tour X to compare the balls. Feel is much better with The Tour X on the green as well as the drives. I 've been playing for over 40 years and always love playing a Maxfli ball.

I bought this for my son;s birthday. I did n't have a large budget so I was so happy to be able to give him such a nice gift that he chose himself. He golfs often and now when he and his brothers play together they will be able to tell their balls apart because of all the colors to choose from.

I love these golf balls. The splatter paint is helpful for alignment on putts, and it helps identify MY ball when I ’ m in the rough all the time. It ’s not so dark that I can ’ t see it either, still shows like a solid white ball in flight and on the ground

I switched from Taylormade Distance to Callaway Supersoft recently. Taylormade Distance is good but Callaway Supersoft to me is better since it gives me this amazing ideal trajectory and about 10 yards longer distance.
