I just purchased a Spider GT Max last week. I rolled a few putts on the putting green and it is great so far. The new face insert feels better than the older Spider X. I need to experiment with the movable weights in the future but I am very excited. We only use the driver 14 times per round but we use putter more than a half of our score. I applaud TM for making the world ’s first movable weight putter. I share a similar view about the black stepped putter shaft. The KBS CT Tour shaft looks and feels better.

Honestly, the movable weighting was a bit `` gimmicky '' for my taste. But something about the feel of this thing I could n't deny. I seem to consistently hit lines confidently with this model and I tend to rotate between my spiderX models and my scottie phantom X. They all have good characteristics but this feels like an old glove.

I have played many putters designed by Guerin Rife over the years. This is another excellent design of his. Aesthetics are clean, and the putter sets up very nicely. I am definitely making more putts, playing partners have confirmed. My only reason for the 4 stars is the feel is lacking. The insert does not have the same feel as the more traditional milled putters. If they can do that in future generations, it would be a 6/5 stars!

I have putted with a PING answer traditional style putter for 20 years. Always wanted a Scotty and I am tall at 6' 3 '' so I love the longer style putter and the longer grip that I can slide my hands down or up as needed depending on where I am in proximity to the hole. I went to my local golf supplier to pick up some golf balls yesterday. As I walked by, I noticed that they had some of the new TRI- HOT putters on the putting green. As an owner of the S2S# 7 putter, I was interested in the difference in the two putters. I have added significant weight to my S2S to get a balanced feel in the club. From the moment I picked up the TRI- HOT S2S, I noticed a significant difference in the balance of the putter. It felt more balanced and stable across the club face as I hit some balls, some intentionally toward the toe and heel. Needless to say, I walked out with a new putter. The feel was too good.

I tested a lot of putters before I purchased this one. I 've used a LAB DF3 for 2 years and love the zero torque performance of that putter. However, with the shaft mounted in the center of the face, it did n't suit my eye very well. When I came across this style with the shaft in the hosel, I knew I would love this one and man was I right. The square to square performance is the same as a zero torque model. This putter suits my eye great, is easy to keep square, and the pistol grip that came with it makes it super easy to keep you hands in a great position. It's a very nice looking putter, easy to aim and set up, and has performed for me great so far.

I purchased the S2S Tri Hot putter over the winter. I live in the Midwest. Previously I ’ ve played a number of versions of Odyssey ’s number 9 putter and their double wide putter. First of all the S2S Rossie is stunning to look at. Second I purchased the putter for the zero torque technology with the hopes it will help me make more putts. I ’ ve played two rounds so far and the results speak for themselves. Each round I made 7 one putts. This putter is so balanced with a great feel. There is no need to play with a forward press with my hands. The new face insert is great. I ’ ve seen the best roll off a putter face I ’ ve ever played with in 30 years. The grip is outstanding. Usually I add a Super Stroke after purchase but did not need too with the stock grip. The internal weighting feels right. I ’ m so excited to continue to play this for 2026 and beyond. The price point is very high but I feel it was worth it. Callaway gets an A+. Bravo.

I currently carry a 3 handicap, and at that level the way a putter feels in my hands matters more than anything else. I have putted with everything from a Titleist Bullseye to center- shafted blades like the Odyssey White Hot# 2 and Scotty Cameron Newport 2. 6, and later moved into mallets with the Phantom 5. 5. I have always felt most comfortable with center- shafted putters, and this one tops them all. The Square 2 Square TRI- HOT Jailbird give me confidence of feel, alignment, and stability that any of my Phantoms gave me in the past. I previously gamed the original Square 2 Square Jailbird and had my best rounds of 2025 with it, but never fully bonded with the grip or required forward press. The TRI- HOT version fixes those issues completely. The grip feels natural, the setup is neutral, and the putter simply wants to return to square. Despite owning several milled putters, I keep coming back to this one because of the insert. The softer feel makes distance control easier, and the updated TRI- HOT face is extremely consistent across the strike. I have never putted better. This putter is locked in the bag and is not leaving anytime soon.

I replaced a 20+ year old blade putter with this and I ’ m glad I did. It took a little getting used to initially, because it ’s a zero torque, the shaft is longer than a standard shaft and the grip is long. I had to rework my hand position and stroke force. Balls leave the face with very little effort. Once I got used to it I drastically improved my putting game. I highly recommend this putter!
