Deep channel and absolute perfect feel off finger tips when shooting and dribbling. Wilson EVO nxt is comparable but Nike ELITE Championship feels more real.

[ Just having been in the basketball space( at all levels) for a long time, I 've been exposed to all of the different types of balls that are used at each level. For the elite high school level, I firmly believe that this is probably the best basketball available. A lot of the other balls are way too soft-- while some people think they `` feel nice '', I think it's just too mushy. It does n't roll off your fingers the same way a professional level basketball would( which are much harder); also does n't have that `` oomph '' factor when passing and catching. There are a couple other balls that are not as soft( a little harder), but maybe as a trade- off, they have far less pebbling and are otherwise just smoother-- this reduces the tactile aspect that players enjoy from pebbling; you 're able to feel the ball better and just have a better grip on the ball overall when passing, catching, shooting, or laying the ball in. I think this Nike Elite Championship Basketball combines the best of both words-- 1) it's soft but not too soft, so it feels good without being mushy, and 2) it retains the really nice pebbling that is often appreciated for its tactile function. On top of all of that, the quality is great-- the seems are even without any deformation or anything and the text print is perfect as well. All in all, highly recommend this for high- level players in high school( and beyond). Get this ball!

[ This is a good, standard professional size 7 basketball. It felt comfortable to grip, and has the look and feel of a quality ball. I did have to add a little air, but after that it felt great. The box suggests the ball for indoor use only, and while I typically use outdoor courts I have not seen any excessive wear yet.

[ The elite championship ball definitely holds up to its name. It ’s one of the better basketballs I ’ ve had in a while for indoor use. It has great grip/traction and never felt dusty no matter how dusty the court was. The deep grooves of the lines made it somewhat easier to get my hand placed on ball from a shoot and catch position. This ball is intended for indoor use, with the soft materials it ’s made off this ball will definitely get chewed up on concrete! Overall this ball is a great ball to play with and I will continue to use if for most of my practice and weekend basketball plays.

[ This basketball is hands down the best one I 've played with on indoor courts. The deep channels provide exceptional feel for catch and shoot situations, while the soft leather meshes extremely well with my finger tips upon contact. I play the guard position and can say the comfortable grip allows me to dribble between the legs with ease. On a side note, I strongly suggest playing only on indoor surfaces to preserve the longevity of the ball's leather grip. I ca n't wait to fully break in the ball when the leather `` softens '' up some more so I can maximize the ball's full potential. This is a basketball that not only feels but looks good-- a must buy for all hoopers out there.
