Deep channel and absolute perfect feel off finger tips when shooting and dribbling. Wilson EVO nxt is comparable but Nike ELITE Championship feels more real.

[ Just having been in the basketball space( at all levels) for a long time, I 've been exposed to all of the different types of balls that are used at each level. For the elite high school level, I firmly believe that this is probably the best basketball available. A lot of the other balls are way too soft-- while some people think they `` feel nice '', I think it's just too mushy. It does n't roll off your fingers the same way a professional level basketball would( which are much harder); also does n't have that `` oomph '' factor when passing and catching. There are a couple other balls that are not as soft( a little harder), but maybe as a trade- off, they have far less pebbling and are otherwise just smoother-- this reduces the tactile aspect that players enjoy from pebbling; you 're able to feel the ball better and just have a better grip on the ball overall when passing, catching, shooting, or laying the ball in. I think this Nike Elite Championship Basketball combines the best of both words-- 1) it's soft but not too soft, so it feels good without being mushy, and 2) it retains the really nice pebbling that is often appreciated for its tactile function. On top of all of that, the quality is great-- the seems are even without any deformation or anything and the text print is perfect as well. All in all, highly recommend this for high- level players in high school( and beyond). Get this ball!

[ I play basketball three times a week and for the past couple weeks I ’ ve been using this ball for warming up and shooting between games. It ’s still not broken in well enough to play games with, meaning the ball is a bit hard on the catch and doesn ’ t bounce evenly when dribbling. That being said, most balls I ’ ve owned have been similar and over a few weeks have broken in well enough that those concerns go away. I really like the grip on the Nike Elite ball, but I noticed that where the Elite logo is the grip is much more slippery. This might be less noticeable as the ball wears in as well, but something to think about.

[ This is a good, standard professional size 7 basketball. It felt comfortable to grip, and has the look and feel of a quality ball. I did have to add a little air, but after that it felt great. The box suggests the ball for indoor use only, and while I typically use outdoor courts I have not seen any excessive wear yet.

[ Excellent competition level basketball. You won ’ t want to play with this guy outside as it will quickly wear and ruin the ball. It is only built for indoor court use. This is the same ball many men ’s NCAA teams use and it ’s obvious why. I prefer the Nike ball over Wilson for the grip and wear.
