This was my first Wilson glove as I grew up playing high school ball with a HOH. I primarily played infield and always rocked an 11. 5 ” glove. However, now as an adult I have been playing rec slow pitch softball. I went with this 12 ” glove to use as a hybrid between softball and coaching my son in baseball( throwing batting practice, warming up players.. etc.) The glove feels pretty stiff when you first get it but it ’s definitely softening up with regular catch. Even though he still needs to wear it in, it ’s already off to a great start- it ’s softening up and he can close it without any issue.
