I have overpronation, so most Nike shoes don ’ t work well for me. I heard these new versions were coming out, so I decided to give them a try. I ’ m really impressed! They ’ re super comfortable and provide great support for my overpronation. The only downside is that they don ’ t come in a wide foot size. Overall, though, I ’ d highly recommend these shoes!

[ I absolutely love the Nike Structure 26 Wide! As someone with wider feet, finding a running shoe that offers both structure and comfort is not easy. But these hit the mark beautifully. [ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

Just ordered two additional pairs. I have loved the Escalante 3 and Escalante 4 because the low stack gives me great road feel. The fabric in the toe area of the Escalante 5 continues what I love about versions 3 and 4-- softer toe area at the front of the shoe, low stack height, comfortable lacing-- while giving me a slightly wider and longer toe box in the same size I always wear. Fit over the mid foot( I have high arches) is excellent. The laces are long enough. I played with the lacing at the upper eyelets to perfect the fit over the area of the instep closest to my ankle. Altra, please give me more fun, bright colors-- The Escalante 3 in fuchsia was a real winner. The pink is OK, but I 'd like something more bold. After wearing it for a few days, I ordered the shoe in the pale blue and black with white sole.

Compared to the previous version of the Triumph, which I also loved, I find the T22 to be softer but not too soft, very stable, with a fun energetic ride. It has more room in the toebox which I appreciate- I did n't have an issue with the T20 on a daily basis, but came back from my first marathon with two black toenails, so that little bit more room is great and fits the shape of my foot well. My first run was in the rain and I found the grip to be great. The only downside is it may have lost some of the versatility of the T20/21, which also did well on moderate speed days, but T22 feels solidly made for daily training and long runs. Definitely think it will be a great cruiser and leg saver on longer efforts.

[ I 've been really impressed with these shoes so far. The first thing I noticed was how much cushioning they have. Looking at them, you 'd expect them to feel heavy because of the thick sole, but they 're actually surprisingly lightweight. When I 'm walking or jogging, it feels like there's very little impact on my joints because of how much cushion they provide. They 're also true to size, which is always a plus. I usually have to buy wide shoes, but these have plenty of room without feeling too loose or restrictive. The fit is comfortable right out of the box. One thing I really appreciate is how smoothly they roll from heel to toe when walking. It just feels natural. I have plantar fasciitis, and the arch support has been great. Normally I can feel some soreness after jogging, but I did n't have any foot pain or discomfort after wearing these. I 've worn them on a treadmill, on paved roads, and even on gravel, and they 've been comfortable on every surface. They provide a lot of support and cushioning no matter where I 'm using them. I also like how breathable they are. My feet do n't feel hot or sweaty after exercising, which is n't always the case with heavily cushioned shoes. The look of the shoe is another bonus. I really like the color, and they go well with just about anything, whether I 'm wearing workout clothes or just casual clothes around town. They will also stay clean for a long time because they are dark in color. I 've actually gotten several compliments on them since I started wearing them. I think they make my feet look small, even though I wear a 9. 5. Some shoes make my feet look HUGE. Overall, these are some of the most comfortable shoes I 've worn in a long time. Between the cushioning, support, breathability, and fit, they 've been great for both exercise and everyday wear. I 'm taking a trip to Disney in October, and these will definitely be packed in my suitcase because I know they 'll handle long days on my feet without a problem.
