OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I use these boots for work, which typically means walking through streams, wetlands, and all sorts of forests and briars. I wish I had found these earlier! My previous boots were much more bulky in the foot, which is okay for wearing for a short time or distance. These boots are much better for walking a few miles and encountering streams. They had no break- in time( immediately comfortable), and have n't given me blisters like all other boots and many shoes have. My only issue is that the neoprene snagged on a twig and ripped a hole, and I had only worn them a couple times! If this boot came with the tall calf AND thicker neoprene, that would be great!! I need my boots to hold up to thorns etc.

[ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

[ I bought these 2 months ago and I was a little scared at first bc they were pretty tight on my foot but after I broke them in they fit really nice, it only took a week or two to break in but I ’ d wear them around the house etc. They ’ re my favorite though. I wear them on the boat and outdoors on trails. I compare them to my Xtratuf boots and these are more heavy duty and you pay for what you get, which is better durability and comfort.

I 'm normally a women 's size 9 and prefer some extra width in the toe area. The 9s in these were swimming on me-- definitely not too narrow, either. Will try an 8 and report back. I have a pair of tall xtratufs that have lasted almost 20 years, but the size has worn off, so I had to guess with these. everything else seems nice. Color is as pictured and the stretchy fabric around the ankle feels soft.

I 've had mine for 6 years, and they are still good! There is a couple small holes on the top from them finally breaking down. But 6 good years going on 7 is amazing! In my opinion. Highly recommended. These boots are lifesavers, and keep you dry and EASY TO CLEAN!

Super comfortable and good for any and all outdoor activities. I 've used them on fishing trips as well as on just a rainy day and they are great on all occasions. I recommend wearing crew socks( the taller ones) to avoid any discomfort from the top of the boot around the ankle. Overall though a great addition to my outdoor gear!

First pair of xtratufs that I ’ ve bought and I could not be happier. I had a pair of Blundstones prior to these bad boys and I can say I prefer the tufs over those. They have a lot more room for a thicker sock and there is plenty of room in the ankle to be able to slip these on quickly. When these need to be retired I will be buying another pair of tufs.

I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

I work in tunneling and mining and constantly an in my steel toe Xtratufs. This has happened more than once I 've put one of my deck boots on, got distracted, and almost walked out with the two different boots on. They are so comfortable and so easy to slip on, especially after a long hard day playing in the mud. 10/10 would recommend and definitely want one in every color.

I got these boots as a gift and they are certainly the best! I am a typical size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. I did add some extra support for my bad feet, but they are comfortable on their own. I wore them everyday for 5+ hours at a horse farm, mucking out, and stepping in things most certain to ruin them. These had hard use and never cracked or got a hole where a lot of rubber boots do near the toes. The color stayed bright and were easy to clean after a day in mud. I love the ankle height so your legs are n't sweating like taller boots. Honestly the perfect boots, will definitely buy again or will buy another pair for just rainy days and not for stinky farm work!

Love these boots. They ’ re really comfortable. I looked at a lot of boots before deciding and I ’ m glad I landed on these. I love the sole. I walk a lot in them and am comfortable, just like my Chaco sandals, and I love having a more aggressive tread on the bottom. They ’ re cute but super functional. I needed to size down. I ’ m usually an 8 in boots but the 7 worked for me better. I have a narrow heel and the my feet were sliding out of the 8s. They ’ re not extremely warm, but they are warmer than a regular casual boot and they are waterproof! I ’ ve worn them outside when there ’s melting snow and my feet stay dry. I just wouldn ’ t buy them as your “ snow boot ”, but they ’ re a great, cute boot for cooler days. I ’ m a teacher who has to be outside quite a bit and I wear them to work all the time.
