The trunk bottom is built nicely for those that are modest. It allows room for the thighs and buttocks and came in a nice green color. The one thing that was noticed but it wasn ’ t a show stopper was the front. There was a little more room in the stomach area but that ’s fine if one is trying to cover a small pooch. Oh my goodness, these are the best swim bottoms ever! They fit like a glove. I 've never felt so confident and felt so good in swim bottoms before. They cover everything! My whole rear is covered. They come up right past the hips, so they look very flattering. I bought a medium and I 'm 5'5, 138ish pounds. Based on other Calia clothes, I go between smalls and mediums depending on what it is. I have a Calia bikini top and a Calia tankini top. It goes well with both! With the bikini top, I do n't feel so exposed because the bottoms cover quite a bit. I love that since I usually feel exposed in bikinis. It looks like a one piece with the tankini top, but that 's fine! Calia swimwear is the best swimwear I 've ever owned.

The description says low rise, but I would say it 's more mid rise. They come right below your belly button, which for me is the best place to be the most flattering if you have any kind of tummy. I am 5'10 '' and 180 lbs and ordered an XL. They are a little roomy and I probably could have gotten a L, but I do n't like bathing suits to cut into me so I 'm going to stick with the XL.

Both fit me well in the body, but I had to go with M because of my chest size. I am 34D, 130lb, 5. 3 '' and S was way too revealing in the upper part. If I was cup A or B size M would work for me as well. I like that the straps are adjustable, because I have a short torso and always need to adjust the straps to make them shorter. The fabric is very nice to the touch, smooth and silky. I have n't swam in it yet( well, it 's January!), but I hope it will hold up well in the water.
