Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. [ These pants are so versatile you can use it for everyday use. I love the rain and stain repellant feature because water just slides through it. It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. But i still love it! and i love the belt hoops that becomes additional hooks to whatever you may want to keep in your person that is easily accessible.

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.
