This is my favorite go- to jersey for cooler weather. The lining is soft and makes me feel so cozy and warm when riding in Northern California winter, fall and spring when temperatures can easily swing 20 degrees F on a ride. It almost serves as a jacket and that ’s how I think of it, and the medium works well for me for layering although I am just 5 ’ 2 ” and 116 lbs. — it is not at all floppy but snug and not tight. On the coldest days, I ’ ll layer it with a long sleeved base layer under, perhaps a short or long sleeved jersey and winter vest over it.

I 've only worn this a few times but It's been awesome. This time of year temperatures range from 45 F to 70 F just a few hours later. This top is a little cool below 50 F but gets the job done and is still comfortable 20 degrees higher.

When selecting a women's thermal cycling jersey, consider features such as insulation, moisture-wicking properties, and breathability. Look for jerseys that offer a snug fit to reduce wind resistance while providing enough stretch for comfort during rides. Additional features like reflective elements and pockets for storage can enhance functionality.
Women's thermal cycling jerseys are typically made from synthetic fabrics that provide warmth while allowing for moisture management. Common materials include polyester and nylon blends, which are lightweight and durable. Some jerseys may also incorporate fleece lining for added insulation and comfort.
Women's thermal cycling jerseys are designed primarily for cooler weather, providing warmth and insulation during rides. However, they may not be ideal for extremely cold or wet conditions unless layered appropriately. It's essential to consider the temperature and weather conditions when choosing a jersey for your cycling needs.
Choosing the right size for a women's thermal cycling jersey involves measuring your bust, waist, and hips, and comparing those measurements to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's important to consider the fit you prefer; some cyclists prefer a tighter fit for performance, while others may opt for a more relaxed style for comfort.
Wearing a thermal cycling jersey during rides helps to regulate body temperature by providing insulation while wicking away moisture. This keeps you warm without overheating, making it ideal for cooler weather. Additionally, the snug fit reduces wind resistance, enhancing overall performance during your cycling activities.
