Using the Rawlings break in kit every night it took about 4 days( 6- 8 hours) of use/play before it was usable. Another week before it was really well molded to his hand. It broken in perfectly and is made from super high quality leather. It actually keeps very clean too. I was worried it might look “ dirty ” after just a few uses and play, but it doesn ’ t look that way at all. It doesn ’ t look new either, it looks broken in and used so within a week it no longer stood out. It ’s a great glove and it will be for years to come. Highly recommend!

I bought this baseball glove in store and was sold on the quality. My son is a lefty and we were super excited they even had it in store for him to try on. The employee told us to keep a soft ball in the palm of the glove when putting it away in his baseball bag so it doesn ’ t collapse over time. He also showed him how to properly break it in so my son spent some nights doing that before bed. His old glove was way too stiff and he hated it.
