I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. [ The Obermeyer Orion ski pants are an excellent value. They are quality made, comfortable, and stylish- not baggy and not tight- perfect fit for skiing. I wear the medium size( 5'10 '' 165 lbs) The waist fits below the belly button which I prefer for bending when adjusting my boots or powder cords. The pants are great for cold snowy days. [ My girlfriend got me a pair of these for christmas and I loved them so much that I got another pair a month later! I use them for climbing in the gym and they 're perfect for that. They 're flexible and keep my legs protected from scrapes. They also keep my legs warm outside while I walk to the climbing gym in the winter. Only downsides are that they 've pilled a lot after washing them and sometimes they can be too warm for indoor climbing.

Bought these as lounge and active pants because I do n't love super tapered joggers from other outdoor/active wear brands. These are by far my favorite pant in this category. The straight leg, knee gusset, and stretchy waist band are perfect. I sized up to a large due to thicker legs, but the regular length still fit as a 5' 8 '' male.

I love these pants so much I ’ m that I own 4 pairs. Only thing I wish was that the lengthen was slightly shorter. 32 for regular fit is slightly too long. Other wise than that they are awesome. I think these are the only pants I wear. There is a nice amount of stretch and it drys super fast.

These are the perfect joggers to wear all year round, not too heavy, not too light. I ’ m 5 ’ 5 so pants usually bunch a bit on me but I think these fit perfectly. [ These are such soft and comfy joggers. They have just the right amount of taper at the bottom, usually joggers fit me tight around the calves but these fit perfectly and were not too snug. They are high waisted and hit right above my belly button. I would prefer not to have a ribbed band because after wearing them all day they did leave an imprint on my stomach, but other than that they were very comfortable to wear. The inside of the joggers were a soft fleece, but they were not too thick, they felt like wearing really soft sweatpants. Normally in sweats and joggers I like to wear a Medium to have a looser fit, but the Small was just right where I had enough room to move around and not feel constricted. These are great joggers to run errands in or to put on after a hot yoga class.

These pants are awesome. Great baggier fit for people with larger muscular legs. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 or 188cm and I got a L regular. Slightly long but nothing a belt can ’ t help. I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! They even ripped because I snagged them with a crampon and still didn ’ t let any water through!

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

With the leg drawstring open, these pants cover my ankles and look smart, not just sporty. The pockets are divine and do not gap when not in use. Not too tight but fitted enough to to be flattering not feel like your wearing hiking pants. There are tons of pockets and I mean pockets that actually hold things including your phone! Thanks Columbia cause in women ’s pants this is a rare feature these days. I do wish there were more color variations.
