Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. This is the second pair I purchased and if there were more color options. I ’ d probably get more. They are incredibly comfortable with the elastic drawstring waist and stylish enough to wear to work or just every day.

I love these pants- they have a soft, lived in feel right out of the bag. It seems to be more of a gray color, not so much smokey olive but still very much love. Oh, they also run VERY BIG. I 'm 5' 4 155lbs and do n't wear a size small in anything except these pants. I also have another color in medium and I 'm swimming in those. Still love them.
