These size large fit me great with almost a tapered look and feel to them. They are not made baggy. It is hard to tell they are jordan, as the logo is the same color and the pants itself. They have a “ swishy ” feel to them but it doesn ’ t not irritate my skin or anything. I ’ ve tried them on with thermal tights for the cold weather and it ’s just as comfortable. I got a size L, and I ’ d say the pants are true to size. They ’ re straight cut so they definitely give you a lot of leg room which is great to layer up for the cold weather. I think the design is pretty simple which I love. They have pockets on top and also one cargo style pocket on the side that ’s pretty deep. The material feels really smooth and nice although it seems that it may crinkle pretty easily maybe after washing. A steamer could fix that issue easily though. One thing I will say is that the pants are a bit long for me, and I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”. If I wear them with snow or work boots, they look just fine. But they ’ ll drag on the floor if I wear them with any low cut footwear.

The material is light but doesn ’ t feel too plasticky and thankfully doesn ’ t make “ swishing ” sounds when walking like some other similar pants. The drawstring waist is wide enough to avoid pressure points, with a chunky string that stays tied well. The pockets are deep enough that your phone won ’ t fall out when you kneel or sit and the mid- leg pocket is novel and holds a phone or wallet nicely. The ankles are straight with a wide enough opening to drape nicely over high tops without looking baggy. Fit around the hips is a bit more snug than other Nike pants I own but only a bit. If I could alter one thing it would be making them a bit roomier in the hips but that ’s just personal preference. For reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and 190lbs with an athletic build. I wear a 32 waist in jeans and this medium pair of pants fit me well. I really appreciate the premium touches like Jordan branding on the aglets and eyelets, as well as the expensive selling materials and clean paneling and stitching throughout. On the whole, I ’ ve been very impressed with these pants and they found a place into my rotation as soon as I got them.

I can pretty much do any activity in these as they are well fitted at the waist and have zero restrictions anywhere! These are extremely high- waisted; so if you have a short torso, these might not be for you as barely any of your midriff or the style of the waist band are showing. For me, I don ’ t like showing my midriff so I don ’ t mind how high they are. I love that the waist band is elastic but only worry about the future wears/washes that might cause it to lose its elasticity. We shall see. In addition, I love that I can style these up or down depending on the day ’s activities; I ’ ve worn them for a business casual look and as a sporty look! And the pockets! [ These Nike pants are interesting to say the least. Typically when you think of Nike, you think of sports, athletics, workouts, etc. These pants tend to lean more on the casual side. More of an `` athleisure '' pair than a workout pair. The bottom( ankle) part flares out almost like a boot cut pair of jeans, almost covering my entire feet. This has proven to be cumbersome when doing any high intensity workouts. The highest level of activity I would recommend is power walking or just something to wear when running errands. The material is incredibly soft and super lightweight. The waistband is super comfortable and not restraining at all. The dimensions fit perfectly so I definitely recommend true to size unless you really want an over- sized or form- fitting look. The thing I love the most about these is the very minimal branding. The only logo is above the left pocket and you can barely notice it being that the pants are black and the logo is black. Overall, I recommend these if you are looking for a casual pair of pants but I do not recommend them if you are looking for a new pair of workout pants.

As always, the Smith Summit Pants deliver. This is my third pair, and I ’ ve owned every generation so far. The new version definitely runs larger — in previous generations, size L felt consistent across models, but this time L fits more like an XL from the older ones. The redesigned knee pockets are now placed more toward the front of the thigh instead of the side. I ’ m still getting used to this change and not sure yet if I prefer it, but the functionality seems about the same. I ’ m happy they brought back the snap button on the rear pocket — much better than the zipper from V2. The single- layer knee pockets are still a small letdown compared to the older double- pocket design. The added soft, stretchy lining on the inside of the waistband is a nice touch — feels great and adds comfort for all- day wear. Overall, still one of the best pairs of pants I ’ ve ever owned. I purchased these pants in both the zip- off and non- zip- off models for an extended trip to southeast Asia. Three countries and 30 days later these pants, like the others I have purchased over the years from Columbia have been impressive. They wear like steel surviving daily wearing where I sat, hiked, climbed in and out of long boats, tuk- tuks, taxis, busses, through remote villages, along muddy tracks, and repeated washing in sinks and the occasional clothes washers. The hot humid climate created a thermal challenge but wearing shorts was not an option given all manner of biting insects that carry a variety of nasty diseases. These pants are super lightweight and fast drying. Most stains came out in the wash and those that did n't, probably would n't come out of any fabric.

I bought several pairs of these pants about a month ago. I have been a horse trainer most of my life and wore blue jeans. But I am now working doing farm maintenance in Florida where it becomes very hot in the summer. I found the blue jeans to be quite hot and was looking for an alternative. They needed to be durable but lightweight and comfortable but also have lots of pockets. I didn ’ t know these pants existed until I saw them in Dick ’s Sporting Goods. I have to say these have checked all the boxes. They seem to be durable but they are lightweight and have lots of pockets. Seeing as they do not have belt loops for a belt, it ’s difficult to use the holster for my phone. I find the front pockets to be convenient to put my phone in along other essentials such as pocket knife or keys. I love the fact that they have zippers so you don ’ t have to worry about items falling out of the pockets. There are two rear pockets similar to what you would find on blue jeans. There are also narrow pockets lower on legs that I find quite handy. There are also loops for tools such as a hammer. These pants are exactly what I was looking for. I find the sizing to be accurate, and I find them to be very comfortable.
