I think these are the perfect trouser/yoga pant combo. I 've worn them out to dinner and feel totally comfortable styling them with a t- shirt during weekend errand runs. Immediately after taking them out of the package, the fabric feels like your standard workout material, but it's heavy and looks so flattering on. I love that they have weight to them as a trouser or a jean would. They sit so nice on my waist and do n't roll down. However, the length. I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. I just love the way they fit and look, and have already ordered the other colors.

It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

Pants are very comfortable, lightweight, just elastic enough to add to durability of consistent wear. Does stain a little easier than other pants. Staple part of my rotation now, will be copping in a different color.
