The shirt is very thin, therefore I thought I may be cold and need a jacket in cold weather, but it amazingly held my body heat in perfectly without making me hot. I would not change a thing about it. I am normally a medium but got this in a large since I thought I might layer underneath it, but it does not run large. A medium would have been fine. I will wear this for exercising outside, but it will also be a great base layer when snowboarding.

The only thing that I did not like was that the white color is quite see through, so I had to wear another shirt on top of it, or high- waisted workout pants and a full coverage sports bra underneath. That might not be a bad thing for some, but I am 37 years old and want more coverage. Other than that, it's a great workout top that will certainly keep you dry and last a long time! I have been testing this shirt for 3weeks and I continue to be impressed. It has made outdoor runs more enjoyable and allows me to keep running outside rather than switching to the treadmill. The shirt wicks sweat which keeps me warm longer than my previous shirts. I also love how practical this shirt is. My two favorite features include the thumb holes in the sleeve and the zipper pocket on the side to hold my ID, cash, car keys when needed. I love that I don ’ t need to make sure my shorts have a pocket to hold the essentials. The shirt ’s fabric is top notch. It has not stained or pilled when washed. It is thick enough for warmth while not being bulky. This shirt is fantastic. It ’s basically just a much needed upgrade version of the 1/2 zip elements. What I mean by that is the material is soft and comfortable and stretchy. The shirt also has a mesh ’s area running on the bottom of the arm that goes along the whole sleeve which is nice to help with cooling off. Also it seems to be lighter than the elements which helps it be a better choice to wear on warmer days. Hope these stick around and get more colors. I definitely recommend these especially if you were a fan of the 1/2 zip elements.

I work for the Depart of Food& Ag and spend most of my day in the field surveying& inspecting insect traps. This shirt with the extra pockets near the waste is amazing. Easy click buttons are nice, BUT, they have unspaped a few times if the shirt gets caught on something. I suppose I would rather have the shirt buttons un- latch than have the shirt itself tear. It's also nice that the UPF is strong. Another complaint is that is holds wrickles a bit well. However, all n all, it's a great shirt o highly recommend.

These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

Two negatives-- stitching starts to unravel after a few washes in the machine. And the colors of the top are almost all universally awful! No prints or designs, please! No pastels, please!
