The skirt itself is not stretchy but the material is very light and I imagine will be nice for the hot summer months. I am 150, 5ft3im and bought the small. Due to pregnancy and birth, I have gained a bit and it was a bit snug trying to put it on- definitely had to shimmy my way in and a medium may have fit me better but I like the way it looks on so I plan to stick with the small.
