[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

These leggings have stretch because I am a thick women. The color is very vibrant! The reason for my 4 stars was because the jacket runs very small. The arms of the jacket is stretchy, but the middle part of the jacket is n't. You have to size up in the jacket. I bought 2 sets. The bottoms in the blue are large and the maroon color are in an xl. [ These are definitely my new go to leggings! The ribbed material makes them extra comfortable to wear while lounging around or working out. I love the big pocket in the back of the leggings for holding your phone securely. I like how you can adjust the material around the cutout to make it as visible or hidden as you ’ d like. It ’s still a little cold for bicycle riding around here but I recently wore them to start up the dirt bike and they were both durable and flexible for getting around. I 'm a postpartum momma and I love that these pants have so much support while staying comfortable. They hold me in where I need it but are still stretchy enough to feel comfortable as I get back into exercise. The back pocket on the waist is a fun touch to hold my phone if needed. I think the cutout is cute but my work out tops all cover it up so that part of the pant is n't as important to me. Someone who wears cropped work out tops might appreciate that detailing more. The only other thing I would note is these leggings run long. I 'm 5' 8 and they fit very well with my sneakers on but if I were shorter I probably would find them to be too long. Overall these pants are perfect for every day wear and light exercise and I wish I had multiple pairs!

I 'm 5 ’ 4 ” 190lbs /162 cm 86kg and very pear shaped so I got an XL and it is exactly what I wanted. Calling them `` gentle support '' really nails it. I wo n't be taking these for a run but that's not why I wanted them, I wanted them to be comfy, breathable, and cute bottoms that I could wear day to day, to look casual but still put together. They were also compressive enough to hold everything in and smooth all the bumps/lumps- but not at all so tight they were uncomfortable. The material is thicker than some of the other leggings I have worn/tried, very soft, and doesn ’ t attract tons of lint or pet hair( huge plus for me)! The cutout on the front of the pants are a fun detail that added some flare to basic black flare leggings! The price point is great and the fit is great! My only complaint would be that after a few wears I had some stitching that was loose. But that could have been an accidental snag possibly, since it was solely in one small area. Other than that, they have seemingly held up well thus far. I definitely recommend giving these pants a try, they won ’ t disappoint!

I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.
