Best beach shade
We were vacationing in a spot where you are only allowed to have a shade structure with a monopole in the middle and this was perfect. It was so much cheaper than the other monopole that ’s more well known. It was easy to put up and in fact, I like it more than our neso grande shade tent which cost four times as much when we purchased at five years ago. Just wish this could work in the yard or at soccer games. It ’s a breeze to set up and take down. I can ’ t say enough good things about it. We purchased two and put them side- by- side so that we could have larger shade for our very large group.

I bought the grande online from Dicks sporting goods, picked up at the South Portland store, same day. Set up was simple, stretched it out in an X pattern, flipped the cord under the sand bags and filled with sand. Poked the poles under the front corners, adjusted the bags a little bit by stretching out, then dug a small pit and buried them. I 've been doing this for three days in the coastal winds and it's been getting more efficient each time. Zero issues, stays put for hours with shifting winds when set up properly. Take down is just as simple. Storage bag is compact. 5+ stars, I 'd buy it again without a doubt and have not received anything for this review.

[ I absolutely love this umbrella! It is in a classy neutral color with what seems to be a faux wood laminate on the pole. The fringe is thick and plentiful, which adds a luxurious look. The umbrella comes in two parts( pole base and top) that are easy to put together. The canopy is also generously sized. I have a small patio table for 4 people and it provided more than enough shade. I do bring it back inside for storage once I ’ m done using it. The carrying bag makes storage so easy, especially because of its ample size. You can effortlessly put the umbrella back in without any pushing and stuffing. The upper portion of the umbrella pole also has an adjustable hinge that allows you to tilt the top as the sun changes position. It is easy to adjust and will come in handy at the beach. The umbrella feels very sturdy, including the plastic spokes. It is heavy enough to be durable, but not so heavy that an adult would have trouble carrying it on their back. A small detail that I really appreciate is that the canopy uses a d- ring closure instead of velcro or button snaps. I find that velcro or buttons tend to deteriorate with use, so I love the durability of the rings. This is truly a beautiful umbrella, whether you use it on your patio or by the water, and the thoughtful design elements make it even more enjoyable to use.
