I 'm 5' 5 and they bunch up at my ankles, which I kinda love. I 'm 200 pounds and wear a size Large in all bottoms. I usually order size medium if it's oversized. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with size L. I 'm really glad I did! The size is perfectly oversized-- not so big that they 're uncomfortable or unstylish, but not tight at all either. The only thing is these are not pink like they look in the pics. They 're more like a lilac gray. Very pretty still, just did n't expect the color to be so off.

Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. The pants run a little long( since they are n't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently. My favorite thing about these pants are that they are stylistically more appropriately fitting to wear out in public while being this comfortable. [ I found these pants to be amazing while I was out skateboarding. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I was n't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The taper down the leg led to a snug fit around my ankles, which allowed me to showcase my shoes while wearing and skateboarding in them, which is highly important to me since I take great pride in my show collection and do n't like when they become hidden by pants.
