We have been using these to cover our faces amid the Coronavirus pandemic since they are easy to wash and comfortable to wear. They also protect the ears from wind on chilly days but are breathable enough to act as a sweatband while exercising in warmer environments. We will be using our Buffs long after the pandemic ends! [ Nice light coverage for summer. I got the L/XL and it fit great- I do not like a turtle neck restriction around my neck. It kept me from getting a burn in AZ sun hiking. I ’ m not sure about the cooling part... I guess it doesn ’ t make me too hot so that ’s good. Plus no cougar chest- Ladies we need to protect ourselves from it!!!

If you buy Nylon shirts during the summer you will cook. The Gators and shirts that are cotton will keep you a lot cooler.
