I like the way these pants fit with the taper. They can be dressed up for casual or be worn as activewear depending on what you wear with them. They are the only plain and simple jogger- style black pants I have found in women's sizing for officiating. They are n't baggy. They are tapered but without a cuff or notch so the bottom looks clean. They have regular front and back pockets with no extra seams or decoration. They have no belt loops and the waist tie can be inside and unseen. I 'm 5' 6 and the length works for me because they are meant to be a little shorter so they are n't bunching at the bottom like some pants are for me. I bought 2 pair because it was so hard to find a basic pant like this. I hope they hold up after multiple washings, So far it has been fine. I wish they were a little cheaper or went on sale, but as much as I have worn them, I felt it was worth it.

I 'm also loving that I can get beautiful jackets and pants in the same color to make up a set, and that there are several different styles of pants to choose from. Every now and then the sizing is off on some things, and often the jackets run a size large, but I do n't really care what's printed on the label once I get the size that fits! My waist is 30 '' and hips 37 '', and the medium fits perfectly. I 'm only 5' 4 '', and the length is just fine so I did n't have to hem them like some that sag too much over the cuff. Anyway, all the Calia sets I 've bought just look lush and expensive, and continue looking new with gentle washing and hanging to air dry. I do have to use a steamer after the first wash to remove the packing fold lines, but only that one time. These are so comfortable they 've become my go- to pants to wear when I need something with pockets and do n't want regular windpants/ trainers/ sweatpants. [ Got these joggers in the mail and immediately ordered more 24. 7 gear. They 're super soft and the fabric feels heavy and high quality. Right out of the package, I was really impressed with how intentional the design on these were- no itchy tag in the back, the loop on the waistband for hanging them properly, and sleek pockets that do n't give you that weird bulge out at the hips. I 'm 5' 5 '' and normally wear a 28/size 6 and think the M was perfect. In terms of length, I always get worried that I 'm going to have a ton of fabric down by my feet, but the hem hits me right on my ankle- no baggy extra fabric! The waistband was thick, secure, and does n't roll down and also did n't pinch me or create any unflattering angles. I 've washed them twice already, and they 've remained their size and soft look and feel. Just wanted to give a heads up about the color. I got the sail/light orewood and thought they were a tad sheer. However if you pay attention to the underwear you 're wearing, you wo n't have a problem; even if bending over. I think the sail color pairs great with so many pieces I have and can really be styled however. Really love them and get why they 're in the 24. 7 collection- because I 'm wearing them 24/7.

They are great in colder temperatures but I would n't wear them for long periods of time in the rain. The waistband is super comfortable and the tapered ankles are a wonderful touch. I love the drawstring because you can adjust it whether you like your sweats tight or loose.
