Then I found this shirt. I love the material and how it feels. Almost like I ’ m wearing nothing at all! Also like the fit, though I do wish there was a “ tailored ” style with the waist tapered more. I have an upside down triangle shape, and while this does fit better than some, there ’s definitely a lot of material around the midsection that I don ’ t need. Takes away from my body shape. [ Super hard to find a sun protective shirt in Petites. I 'm 5 ft 1 and all the regular shirts come down to my knees and way past my hands. This shirt is wonderful- It's not too long in the body or arms for me. Just a little long in the arms, but I can easily handle that. Tested in the hot Texas sun- 89F with a breeze. I went out to pick beans and blackberries and did NOT feel the hot sun burning on my arms like I would in a T shirt and my core felt cooler than my head( wearing a sun hat). LOVE this new shirt. Wish there were more colors/patterns- especially in more earthy colors. I do n't look good in blue or purple. Light colors are best for the hot sun.

I am a staunch supporter of Columbia Sportswear for the Tamiami and Super Tamiami Long Sleeve Shirts. I love how light they are. They are so light- I no longer wear cotton T Shirts in summer. I have actually gone swimming and thrown the shirt on without towel drying and the shirt dries amazingly fast. And to those who think this shirt is too expensive- This shirt is like kevlar- indestructible. I have nearly 20 shirts( I had a weight loss and had to drop a size)- and not one has made it to the rag pile. The only casualty was a spark from the s'mores fire melted a hole. They still look great. I ca n't remember my first, but it's at least 8 years. Worth every penny.

Great shirts! Could always use more solid colours! But one question to the designers…why the odd choice of slanting the fabric orientation on the left front shoulder/chest? It really keeps the piece as an outdoor garment and limits the wearability in a travel/city situation.

Great shirt. I 've with our 2. I have a Med and a Large and both fit week( 510/180). Ca n't say enough good about this shirt. Classy, protective, form fitting. I hunt, fish, shoot prs matches, do yard work, and eat dinner out in this thing. I live in AZ and sun protection is a must. Everyone 2- 3 of these. I 've used them heavily for 3 years and they are just starting to look worn. That's pretty fair, other shirts do n't get that far.

These are my by far my favorite button ups. I have 5 of these and and will probably be getting more. The fabric is lightweight and stretchy, the buttons keep a gold hold and they look sharp.

Super comfortable and breathe as well. I ’ ve bought five of these so far and they ’ re fantastic. One thing that some people might care about is that the paint or coating on the snaps comes off and chips really easily. I don ’ t really care about this so it ’s not an issue for me, but some people that are concerned with fashion might have an issue with it.

The Astroman Short Sleeve Shirt is a welcomed addition to my wardrobe for summer. The shirt washes easily on cold water and dries without wrinkles on a normal mid- range temperature in the dryer. The sizing is definitely accurate for a 2XL. Would buy again in a different color or pattern.
