[ I gave these shorts to my 7 year old son and he likes them. They are light weight and do n't have that mesh material on the inside that regular swim trucks usually have. They dry quickly. I also like that they can be worn as shorts or swim trunks. It makes it nice for days that he might be going swimming but also might not. They have a back pocket. There is a tie in the front but that does not tighten the shorts at all and looks more for looks. They waist is n't very elastic either.

[ I own several Howler Bros shirts, and the pearl snap shirts are my favorites. Great quality and comfort. The one thing I wish they would add is a pen opening on top of the left pocket, like the traditional Wrangler snaps. Give me a convenient place to hang my glasses without messing with the pocket flap.
