I bought these to use with my road bike, which has a cushioned but very narrow seat. If I go for a ride longer than 45 minutes, I usually am sore along my pubic bone. These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

Thank you Peloton, on December 10, 2024, I was 314 pounds. Today march 24, 2025, I am 220 pounds. 94 pounds lost. I bought my bike, and the peloton instructors, are amazing. I started with a 5 minute ride, did a ton of stretching, now I went 99 days with a workout everyday. I am 56 years old. I completed all of Matt ’s 120, 90, working on 75, lots of 60 minutes rides, lifted weights, walked, all with my peloton app. I can ’ t think all of Peloton for helping me. The information the instructors give is so key to success. I love you all.

I picked up Peloton in the early fall of 2019 and of course it carried me through the pandemic but since then the depth of interesting classes and various workouts have kept me going. I thought I would hate writing indoors but this simple machine has gotten me to a point where if I go too long without an indoor session I make excuses. It made the winter training more than bearable as the temps and snow just kept on dropping for months. I set up my laptop on an ironing board in front of the bike, fan blowing hard core, and have knocked out three hour rides, power intervals, tempos and sprint intervals. Watching cycling documentaries makes this extremely entertaining.

I have an indoor exercise bike and my entire apartment is floored in hardwood. Looked high and low for a way to protect my floors while I break a sweat on the bike and finally found it in this mat. The hardest bit about putting it out was having to roll the indoor bike around.
