So when this version came out, I gave them another try, I immediately thought they were a big improvement and now I can say I love to wear them along with the matching hoody and crew sweatshirts. The two features I like most are the numerous pockets( front slit pockets, hidden zipper pocket in right slit pocket, and back zipper pocket) and the front bungee loop. Anyone who has ever sat down and had the contents of their pants pocket slide out can appreciate the security of a zipper pocket! [ I found these pants to be amazing while I was out skateboarding. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I was n't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The taper down the leg led to a snug fit around my ankles, which allowed me to showcase my shoes while wearing and skateboarding in them, which is highly important to me since I take great pride in my show collection and do n't like when they become hidden by pants.

The pants run a little long( since they are n't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently.
