Both fit me well in the body, but I had to go with M because of my chest size. I am 34D, 130lb, 5. 3 '' and S was way too revealing in the upper part. If I was cup A or B size M would work for me as well. I like that the straps are adjustable, because I have a short torso and always need to adjust the straps to make them shorter. This is the second version of this suit I purchased. The first one does n't have sleeves. I originally bought it to add warmth to my lap swim because I get cold easily. It worked for that, and I am happy with the other features: fits well, wears well so far. I am 67 so would prefer to have more of my fanny covered, but I wear another suit under it. I was a bit disappointed that the sleeves are not lined with the same fabric as the body, but they will help with sun exposure. I have a broad chest and thin torso, so it's a bit tight when I close the zipper. My first one is the pink and loved the color to start, but it has faded.

This suit is very flattering. It does run a little bit bigger depending on your cup size. There is n't a way to adjust the straps so you need to take into account of that.
