I have purchased several of these, the ones that fit me the best are these with the snaps, Tamiami II. I wear the extra small, and I 'm a 34C. I wear these over athletic tank tops with a lightly padded sports bra( medium), I like that it's a perfect fit when it's buttoned up. If I was going to wear it over a bulky T- shirt or a push up bra, I may size up to a small, but I find them to be too big under the arms unless I leave it open to wear like a jacket. Other styles of Columbia button up long sleeve styles fit different, this one is fitted like an hourglass with a little stretch in the material. I have wide shoulders for my tiny 5' 3 '' 115 lb frame and this fits perfect in XS, other styles I need a small for my shoulders only. If you 're going to leave it unbuttoned then it does n't matter if it's a little big. I wear XS in most Columbia clothes esp with no sleeves, small in some items with sleeves. I wear XS in JCP Liz Claiborne& Worthington tops for reference. Major note- even though there is a notice that the colors on the site may be different than they are in person, I honestly expected the granite purple shirt to be more purple( it looks dusty lilac online). In person, it just looks medium gray. I put it up next to a gray T- shirt and it does look slightly purple- ish. Next to anything purple, it looks dirty. I 'm very disappointed in the color and will be returning that one for a different color. You would be better off just buying gray. This color will not go with anything except maybe black and white. So far, all of the blues and greens and variations of the two mixed together like turquoise and teal have all at the very least been complementary to each other. Some items I have purchased with the same color name have actually matched perfectly! But having a color that looks dirty is not good. I purchased the white one and it matches everything and is a great color for sun deflection in the Florida 8 month summer season. You should get definitely get the white one.

I received this wool shirt for my birthday and I recently took it with me on a 6 night canoe trip. It was perfect to wear around the campfire and not worry about the sparks. I wore it every day from wake up to bedtime. It was perfect for cool temperatures, while paddling the canoe and even during rain showers it kept me dry. I love these shirts. I bought a bunch in several colors in both short sleeve and long sleeve. They are great. One word of caution, the white is a bit transparent and you have to be careful of your bra color. Even my beige bra shows a bit. Not an issue with any of the other colors that I purchased.
