I often wear men's buttondown shirts over women's because women's tend to be too restrictive for my broader shoulders, but not these. I 'll be wearing this more often as fall approaches. This is a great shirt. I 've already gotten compliments on the color. I love the boxy, shorter style as most things are frequently long on me. Has some pretty convenient features even if you 're not purchasing it as fishing attire. It has a loop on bottom of left- hand pocket to hang whatever from, and the logo tab actually opens so you can also use it to hold something. I also like the velcro closure on top left pocket to secure an i. d. pass or some other card. I was n't sure about the snap closure at first but it's working out great. I think I 'll be wearing this a lot!!!

I received this wool shirt for my birthday and I recently took it with me on a 6 night canoe trip. It was perfect to wear around the campfire and not worry about the sparks. I wore it every day from wake up to bedtime. It was perfect for cool temperatures, while paddling the canoe and even during rain showers it kept me dry. A' must' item to bring on my next outdoor trip and will look into getting for other members of the family. It is a bit itchy( wore a long sleeve top underneath on this trip due to the cool temperatures) but am told that after a few washes it will soften up.
