Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. If you have the bottom zipped- it still gives you a form fitting hemline. I ’ m 5 ’ 2 ” and got a small. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

The best sweatpants I own. I bought black, birch and regular gray and I refuse to wear anything else. Please make them in navy so I could at least have 4 pairs to wear in a week or a brown because these are my favorite sweatpants by Nike. I own the phoenix fleece straight leg but they are too long.
