This is an exceptional flannel. Soft but well built. I know it is going to last. The fit is perfect for people are more slightly built. The buttons are sturdy, the pen pocket is a nice touch and the sleeve length are great and over length are perfect for tucking in or leaving untucked. The only thing I would say is the colors vary from the photos in the description. I have two,( the Arctic Green/Dark Navy& the Glacier Green). The Arctic Green is a much more deep green than the photo and the Glacier Green is in all honestly a blue/grey. I do n't mind as it looks great but they do seem to be different than the photos.

I have so many flannels that do the job but just look so boxy on me. Not the case with the Skog Shirt. It's a slim fit( had to size up, but hey!) and I absolutely love wearing it. Very well made flannel. It feels like thick vintage flannel from your Dad. Thinker than North Face Arroyo flannels. Reading other reviews, the size recommendations are all over the place… stick true to size. I am 6 ’ 0 ”, 170 lb with long armed canoeing/running build and bought a large in this( and wear a large across North Face and other brands of flannels). This Valley Twill fits very similar to the North Face Arroyo flannel… except this Valley Twill is about 1 ” shorter in the body. Compared to other flannels that I own this is slightly shorter in body… but everything else accurate. The Pike ’s Purple flannel color looks great and was half- off on Dick ’s website. Great value for thick flannel. Recommended.

This is for my husband, an avid outdoors person who wants a relatively rugged shirt with zipper breast pocket option for reading glasses and paper and even a pen. Fit was solid: 5'11, 140 lbs, slim. Super comfortable shirt. Sizing runs large( for me). I am 6' 2 '' 185lbs and classically wear a large( US) in almost all shirts( I am a 42L or 44 reg in coat sizing). I originally purchased a Large and found it to be too big- it fit me like an XL. I returned the Large for a Medium and the M fits and feels great! The flannel is soft, but feels substantial. I think it will last a long time.

Love this shirt. Ordered two colors, the forest green and the navy/orange and both look great. They are warmer than standard button ups, they wash well/ wrinkle free. Only had for a season but they seem to be holding up well and be crafted pretty sturdily. I will probably order another color this fall as they have quickly become my favorite flannel/button up type shirt. It does run slightly loose- Im 5'10 175lbs and the M fits perfectly relaxed- not tight at all( i usually like slimmer fit but this is classic) but not too baggy to where it looks big. So far Fjallraven has not disappointed( 2 shirts& 2 jackets) so I will likely buy more.
