Love the deep purple, top base layer! It fit really well and was long enough despite my 5' 11 '' height. If you are a C cup or bigger, you might want to size up, but for anything smaller it should work. It's odd that this was long enough but the matching pants are not as I 'm very proportional. I am pleased with my purchase. I am 6', about 180 lbs., and I ordered the Large. I read LOTS of reviews( 1 star review- 5 star reviewers) before purchasing, and I am pleasantly surprised with the fit of the jacket. SEVERAL reviewers stated the jacket runs large, one or two stated it runs `` true to size '', so, what is the `` real deal ''? I believe it runs pretty true to its stated size. The large is a little large on me, and the sleeves are a bit long. I have long arms( wear shirt size 16 X 34- 35 '') and the large jacket sleeves are a bit too long. So, it is NOT a `` tailored fit look '', but I personally prefer the jacket to be a bit larger to enable me to wear a sweater of hoodie underneath. The Medium size may have been a better fit; not sure; but I also wanted the grey jacket( which is almost black in color) and it has a somewhat sculptured fit in the way it was designed. I am MOST pleased. PAY HEED: Do NOT attempt to put anything in what `` appears to be '' inside pockets, as these are NOT inside pockets, they are the inside lining for the two outside access pockets. Several people `` assume '' them to be pockets only to have had their cell phones drop to the floor.

The only downfall for me is the material puckers in the back near the opening. I feel like adjustable straps would fix this, but I also could have sized down. It feels very soft and not stiff. [ I 'm not one to wear clothing dedicated to fitness. I usually wear a basic T- Shirt and sweats and away I go. This running top is a game changer. First impressions are important to me, on the very first day of wearing this top I felt refreshed. 90 degree weather in New York is no joke, walking 4 to 5 miles in that temperature is simply the worst. But this top made it feel like a breeze, literally. Fit, is perfect. I like my shirts oversized. So I always go with medium. So I 'd say this Top is True to Size. Feel of it is cool to the touch. Normally I feel overwhelmed with the heat as I walk but the fabric breathes. Meaning that this shirt does not feel like a wet towel after a shower. It feels great! The design is abstract, my choice of words; because of the geometrical figures along the fabric. Color is a nice touch as well, as it does not attract heat. Neck is wide, which is nice. I do n't feel restricted at all. Hugs the shoulders in a form fitting way. Long enough that it covers the waist band of the shorts I wore. It is perfect. To any person who enjoys long walks or even a run in Central Park. This shirt should be part of their wardrobe. I 've mentioned this before but I love how the fabric breathes. [ I really enjoy this top. Not too thin and not too thick. My favorite on this top is the side pocket that can fit your phone, but won ’ t move around and cause your phone to fall out during a workout session. I also love that you have thumb holes in the top and can also fold the sleeves back on the top if it ’s too long. I ’ m more in between sizes right now( meaning too big for womens sizes but too small for plus size) but I had no issues with the fit of this top. This top fits true to size so if you ’ re looking for a fit where you can put a undershirt underneath, you could size up.( In my case, I ’ m normally an XL, but got a 1X). The material is really soft and doesn ’ t feel heavy. I only wore this top casually but I could tell with the material that you wouldn ’ t be too hot in it if working out. Being able to roll the sleeves up and adjust the zipper could help with the heat as well. The only thing I would probably change about this top, is possibly adding a zipper to the back of it to add in extra items you may be carrying when out and about.

First impression is that it ’s very light, very warm for its weight, and breaths very well. If weight is important to you, this is a must get. It ’s essentially the jacket insulation without the jacket, so if you want wind protection just add a wind breaker. For some reason I was expecting it to have some stretch to it, but it doesn ’ t really, which is fine once you know to expect it. The outer material doesn ’ t feel soft, but the inner brushed material does. Overall a fan of the material, curious if they could add some stretch though, or maybe that would compromise the fiber insulating structure? Other request would be to do a version with no large branding, I don ’ t mind large branding on a jacket, but having it on a shirt or a base layer is less desirable. Would recommend.

[ I bought this as a mid layer, and occasional outer for moderate temps. Found myself wearing this all the time, as a mid layer with temps in the 20s, as an outer with temps around 50. Hard to see in pictures but the inner lining is super soft almost fleece, so provides similar warmth as a wool sweater( thinner of course), and the design of the outer material allows for breathability. Sizing fits perfectly. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ”, 195 with 43 ” chest. Typically wear a large and this was no different. Not snug or baggy, perfect. Some hoodies the collar chokes your neck, not this one. And did you see they have thumb holes!!
