They kept my hands warm for two hours on a snowmobile at- 18C( without grip heaters). I like the snug cuffs, they fit under my coat sleeve and keep the snow out. Time will tell but they seem durable and well constructed.

I 've been using these gloves 2- 3 times weekly for around 4 months now. They 're starting to show some wear on the palms, but I believe that's on me for not treating the leather first. These gloves have keep my hands warm in temps as low as- 25° with the wind chill added. Still very efficient even when my hands got sweaty in them.

Great quality gear. I have used OR equipment for over a decade in some pretty harsh environments and I have always been impressed. These were bought for snowboarding, and I was worried after the first trip when one of the pull tabs seemed to have broken. However, the he tab was meant to be easily adjusted/replaced and I was able to clip it right back in place. These are warm for cold days on the mountain and durable.

[ The fit is a bit small, depending on what you plan on doing with them. I bought these in a women's small. I have small hands; my palm circumference is an even 7 '' and the length of my hand is just less than 7 ''. I 've never previously found a women's small to be at all tight, in fact, sometimes I have to order extra smalls, but these gloves are just a tad bit on the small side. They fit perfectly when my hand is curled, as if you 're holding onto your ski poles or something else, but when I try to stretch my hand as open as possible, it feels just a bit tight in the length. So if you plan on standing around with your hand opened wide and pressed down flat, you should size up. The other issue is the gauntlet sleeve is a little tight/small in circumference-- it's just a bit hard to pull on over a parka sleeve, especiallly if one glove is already on. Also, if you want really fine dexterity, these are too thick for that. I found that while the touchscreen fingers do work fine on my phone and tablet, the difficulty comes in in accuracy, due to the thickness of the gloves. I also found it a little difficult to use a sensitive two button mouse without accidental clicks. However, those things aside, the gloves are very comfy/cozy. The inside lining is soft and I have n't yet noticed sweaty palms. They kept me warm and dry working outside in cold and rainy weather, which is what I bought them for. I would have preferred if the palms had been reinforced with another layer of leather, but so far they seem to be holding up to chopping and stacking wood and other miscellaneous odd jobs around a cabin in the woods when it's cold and rainy. I would imagine these would be good for snowsports as well as winter motorcycling, but again, if you 're looking for really fine touchscreen dexterity, I 'd find a thinner glove that maybe is n't as warm/thick.

I 've been using these for cold weather biking. They are warm, slightly wind resistant and there is no seam along the inside of the thumb and palm so there's no pressure point when gripping handlebars. Unexpected but great feature. Just right. Also good for general use in cold, but not frigid temperatures. Great contoured fit.

This glove felt a full size smaller than the same size in the sensor stormtracker and sensor 150 merino liner. Overall it seemed to be a nice glove for active use. I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. These are hands down( haha!) the best mittens ever! I have spent a lifetime of winters with perpetually frozen fingers, desperate for a way to foil Mother Nature. Enter the Black Diamond Mission MX mittens and all I can say is let ’s go outside, and bring on the snow. First of all, this is the first xs mitten that really is extra small and fits me. There ’s loads of insulation but they ’ re not too bulky( they work great with ski poles and trekking poles and give me enough dexterity to make snow balls). They are really well made and packed with features( wrist elastic and Velcro, soft suede on the thumbs, leashes with toggles, super cozy insides, and super weather- proof outsides. And they are WARM!
