The Champion Duofold Men's Varitherm Expedition long johns are the best! A little pricey compared to some others, but you get what you pay for. I love the thickness, double layered. They keep my family warm during Winter sports. These `` Expedition '' pants are enough to wear under your snow pants... no need for another layer of sweatpants, etc. This brand, style is the ONLY one I have purchased since I became aware of them... I believe that's been over two decades! Now, I 'm buying them for my grandchildren!

Probably my favourite fleece. I own two. My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. Second is a Navy one bout a year old I save for best. No bobbling or damage looks great both wash well and have good warmth. I Keep checking back for a black one but to no avail.

[ Purchased this after my favorite KUHL jacket of a similar design gave it up…pilled, zippers tore, etc. Anyway, bought the Fjallraven a size smaller to be more form fitting and as a warm solo in just cool weather and under layer when cold. I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ” and 185. This jacket is now my favorite. Tighter weave, no pilling expected, warmer and a great fit. Yeh, the zippers aren ’ t great but they won ’ t snag due to they are protected with flaps(?). Plus there are cinches in the side pockets. Not sure how they work but we ’ ll see.
