I ordered my usual size and it was a bit loose in the waist so the pants slide down to be more of a low rise on me, which isn ’ t a big deal because the loose fit in the legs is great. They still are a tad long( unless tied at a high rise level) for my 5 ’ 3 frame but it ’s manageable. I would really love if more colorways were offered in petite- these are not easy to hem because if the zipper and the regular inseam just doesn ’ t work for shorter people. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. I purchased these pants( dark blue and black, size XL) several months ago and wear them frequently to work as a college professor and/or weekend adventures. They wash well( machine wash, cold water, and tumble dry, low heat). They do n't `` pill '' on the inner thighs, which I experience with most of my other pants. They are great! Buy them in every color!

[ A friend wears these when we walk and they look so warm and comfy so I bought a pair. They will be great for walking, travel and lounging because they are very warm and lightweight. I bought my first Merino wool in New Zealand and never regretted paying the big bucks. The 4 star rating is because of fit. The Small size is very baggy. I am thin, 120# 5' 7 '' and I feel even an XS might be that way. I will still enjoy them because they are warm. I was just hoping for more of a yoga pant slimmer fit for potential evening wear.
