I have 5 days of skiing on the jacket in weather from sunny/warm to heavy snow. The fabric breathability is perfect for sidecountry/in- bounds skiing, but a touch heavy if you 're looking for a backcountry jacket. Great windproofing while still breathing. I am 5'11, 165lbs, with broad shoulders. I bought the medium and it can be worn with a puffy underneath comfortably. Not baggy, but still free range of movement. A touch more room on the shoulders would have suited me a bit better. There are a ton of useful pockets, no shortage. Zippers are easy to access, pit zips are a bit cumbersome however. Velcro on the cuffs is easy to adjust with different gloves.

These pants are so cute, fit great, and true to size. USE OBERMEYER ’ S SIZE CHART and take your measurements. I did after a lot of inner debate and the size 10 fits really well! I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. As intended, they are a sporty sleek fit unlike insulated snow pants. They felt warm but will have to test on mtn!

They look and feel much higher quality in person. I spent 5 hours researching bibs and ultimately went with these for the relaxed fit, features, price, color, and moderate amount of insulation. I like the narrower shoulders and the thigh vents were a savior on warmer days. I like the variety of zipper, button, and Velcro pockets too. I was worried about the regular being too long because I ’ m 5 ’ 0 ” but they were perfect in ski boots! Too long for hiking unfortunately. 10/10 recommend.

The only thing I don ’ t love about these is the lack of insulation. These are not nearly as insulated as I would have liked them to be. [ I am now the proud owner of 5 pairs Men's Freedom Pants. 2 are insulated 3 are shells. They fit to size as there are both waist and length size options not just S, M, L, XL. This allows one to select their proper waist and length size for those of us who do n't fall into standard fits( i. e. I 'm 5' 7 '' with a 35 '' waist). The pants are very well made. Pockets, zippers, vents, all very well thought out. Insulated pants are great with a base layer if temps are 22 F or below. Shell pants are great with a base layer above 22 F. I 've been skiing for 51 years and these are the best pants I 've owned. That explains why I have 5 pairs.
