These are easily the most comfortable socks for running that Nike makes right now, and that ’s even without having dedicated L/R in a pair. I have narrow feet, which is why I wear Nikes, but these help fill out that last bit of a shoe without being heavy or bulky somehow. I bought the socks to wear with trail shoes to hike the Wichita National Wildlife area in Southwest Oklahoma, and they worked out very well. It was extremely hot and humid( sweat rolling down the legs and into my shoes), but the socks prevented hotspots and blisters. I have used wool and gymn socks in prior similar conditions, and had to use Luko tape and still had hot spots, but not with these socks.
