I think the cutout is cute but my work out tops all cover it up so that part of the pant is n't as important to me. Someone who wears cropped work out tops might appreciate that detailing more. I was on the hunt for leggings that were( a) seamless and( b) made from mostly recycled materials. I 'm overall happy with my purchase and will be keeping them! But I have a couple notes. One thing is that, even though they are seamless in the front like I wanted, there's a faux seam that appears on the outside of the leggings( but not on the inside). I do n't mind this and it does n't make them fit differently than a truly seamless legging, but I did n't realize this when I was looking at the product photos. A second note is that these are short on me; at 5'11 '', they fit like a 7/8 rather than a full length legging. Again, I do n't really mind, but just something to know. Lastly, these were tricky to get on; I had to treat them like tights when I was putting them on to avoid ripping them. According to the size chart I 'm solidly a size L, and they do feel super comfy once I 've got them on, but it was a struggle. So if you 're on the high end of the size chart I 'd go up a size.
